What have you done to your ride lately?

I had to move my trail rig out of the garage to give me room to work on my '01 4Runner this weekend. I drove the rig around a little with the new seats just in place and really liked how they felt. The only problem was when I had to really press on the clutch and the seat moved more than the clutch. Thankfully my sandwich maker was making dinner and did not see the event.

Lesson learned; only use seats that are bolted down for driving around.

Yeah that could have ended bad; coldbeer, praise Jesus!

Threw my first post on a Subaru forum last night. I asked which all terrain tires worked well with the AWD system because I had heard some caused issues. Idiots are flaming me saying I need all weather tires and that I can't put all terrains on the car. First/last post and I'm done with those toolbags. Simple question = derp till you herp over there.

Please start trolling them with this. Make it as technical as possible so they get confused. "Well the radius of a 33" tire is actually 32.625" with a weight of 60 pounds a piece..." etc... lol

I think you need some 37" KM2. @fsbrain03 can help with that.

I know I've said this for a long time but I really need to rewire the Taco.. get all that shit cleaned up. I've bought just about everything to do it all. Well I started this past week and redid the F&R lockers wiring and the wiring for the small ARB compressor under the hood. Tonight I start on the underdash wiring. I have located a spot under the driver seat for a 12 gang Blue Sea fuse block to sit (I traced out a template for the mount in 3/16th plate. I'll fire up the plasma and band saw and knock it out. The plan is to have a single large 4/8 gauge wire feed that with a 100A relay under the hood that is triggered when the truck is on. Then all the wires for interior crap (CB/2M, a-pillar gauge pod lighting, in-cab winch controller, phone charger, radar detector, plus about 5 other things I'm forgetting) will just be hidden under the carpet and not a big ass rats nest under the dash. So once that's done I'll work on the other areas.

I told my co-worker about this......He said he might join. He loves trolling.

My days of that crap are over. I get way to frustrated bumping brains with morons. I thought I used to enjoy it, but now I think it just turned me into an even bigger asshole than I normally am.

He could sell it to one of us, then he can maybe ride shot gun, well if he brings a woman then he can sit in the back, she can sit up front.

Selling it?

I was thinking of when he had a busted LBJ and got stuck on a trail at Jambo a few years ago. I do not want to be that guy.

So the passenger LBJ has been swapped out. The old one had considerable play to it; so much that I could move it around and make it clunk with my hands. I am about to order new UCA ball joints since they are also clunking.
