Sure wish I had one of those Trail Toys CV axle swap kits right now. And a power washer because there is grease everywhere.

I just went back to the OEM Toyota paper filter after using a K&N since I bought the truck new. Kept reading horror stories about them offroad since they aren't meant to filter out all the dirt from dusty trails apparently. For daily street driving they are fine.
That's why I liked the drilled rotors. I would pack the vents with grease. That would cool them better and got rid of all my brake squeal.Use the excessive grease on the rotor to keep it from rusting![]()
Nope. Carriage bolts didn't stay put. Thinking the lock nuts put a little too much pressure on them and they just spin. It's only 2 not tight but have 3 secure. Mount is solid so I'm good with itDid you get those back bolts tightened down ever?
Got some tires to get me through the rest of school courtesy of @tex
They have more miles on them than what I have now, and have WAY more tread.

I think it would be pertinent to let us know what you were using before the ticking.
You know, so we know what not to use.

Only a pain in the ass because of the lack of space in the engine compartment... had to make a bracket for it & a battery hold down for the blocksAll of a sudden @Silverback is having another dozen light bars delivered so he can propel his trailer with LED power into warp speed.
I do wish I had went with the NSA box from the start. How bad was the install?
Making use of my TrailToys NSA - 3/8 used so far: 30" single row in bumper, 20" triple row on rack, 8x pods underneath. A couple in the back and it'll magically turn into a yellow FJ with lots of stickers

He's got a an indicator block on a long cable to connect to that - tells you what's on/offSo what is the 9 pin connector out the front for?
I'm not sure about that. At least half of it ended up on my hands, arms and shirtThey have enough tire shine/sealer on them they should be fine until you get back.
