What have you done to your ride lately?

Winch is wired and spooled up. Still need to connect in-cab controller. Working on rear battery monitor... almost done. Taking a break at the moment.

Built a little plate with nutserts to allow me to not dick with nuts on the backside. Also used nutserts in the inner fender mount to hold it in place.

Its tilted down a little to allow me to access the winch controller plug a little easier. Its tight but it fits.

Getting this through the hole in the drum was a ROYAL PITA!! Steel cable was 7/16 and this synthetic is also 7/16... very tight to slide through as the synthetic line isn't as stiff. Maybe I should have soaked it in Viagra? But its on.

Decided fuck it and I'm replacing the valve covers, spark plug tube seals, and spark plugs on the Honda. I want this POS to sell and the CEL ain't helpin

Well.. poop. In-cab winch controller uses a 12v positive to provide in and out commands. Superwinch Talon requires a 12v ground command. So.. need to wire up a relay to convert the 12v positive to a 12v ground. Couldn't just fucking work or be easy. Oh no.

Success!! Now to just wire it in the correct place.

When I got the Lexus I noticed the paint was rough like it had lived under a tree or something. Clay bar (x2), coat of Zaino Z2, coat of Zaino Z5 polish and finished with Zaino grand finale spray. WOW this thing looks good. It has some nicks and blemishes being 10 years old but the paint looks so much better now.
Let's see how long before the Dishwasher notices her car is not in the garage.

Got the in-cab winch controller wired up.. but I want to replace the mount for it. Just clean it up a bit. Also managed to get the SPOD wire harness ran into the cab. So its coming along. Gonna call it a day for now. Tomorrow I'll work on it some more.

Pretty sure I would need to test it out to make sure it works right before putting it into the Christmas pool. I would hate to pass along something that was worthless like plastidip or busted parts.
