What have you done to your ride lately?

Sorry to backtrack...I must've missed the post where you got a new winch? What happened to the Warn?

I still have it. Nothing wrong with it. But I figured if I am going to be pulling this trailer as well I would need some more pulling capacity. So I went with a 12.5 Talon from Superwinch. I had good luck with my Superwinch I had on the trail rig. I'll be cleaning up the Warn and selling it along with the Masterpull synthetic line and the 12VoltGuy in-cab winch controller/dual battery setup.

In-cab winch controller installed with a new trim panel. Also got the SPOD wiring in the cab and hooked up some switches to ensure things are working. Need to install the switches (overhead) and run wiring.

One last thing before calling it a night. Labeled the wires so it will be easier to hook up after I sleep. I could tell I was getting tired when I slipped the labels on upside down (not a big deal but I would like them all facing the same direction.. just an indicator that its time to call it a day)

I figure the further away from me inadvertently hitting it the better. Plus I could keep front facing lights on and if some A-hole decides to flash brights at me I can just hit one button and weld his hood shut. LOL

That's Mr Asshole to you
I vote @Silverback leads the high water trail with all those light.
How many FJ friends do you have that influenced your light choice?

Well I am NOT leading. I think since you have done the trail before its your place. :)

As for FJ friends.. you know.. I think I only have 2. But they are lacking in the light department. I'm trying to show them the "light"! LOL

Besides if we need light on the trail we are doing something wrong. Time to call it a day and camp.

Its been a lot of what I have meant to do for the past 2 years, finally getting my ass to do it. But there is more to be done.

When I get back from Arkansas I want to start work on a new bed rack.. taller/longer and minus the box on top.

Where are you going to mount your solar panel then?

Driving home from San Antonio today my steering wheel was bouncing back and forth pretty rough for most of the ride. I know that one of my tires got pretty jacked up when my shock bushing went out a few months ago. I did have Discount Tire rotate and balance afterwards though. They were supposed to put the bad tire on the drive tire spot.

So I got home today and pulled all four tires off. I found this beauty on my driver front. It is now on the back passenger spot. I test drive afterwards and it handles like a much better rig. Now I can focus on getting ready for the Ozarks.
