What have you done to your ride lately?

My discount tire wouldn't touch my wheel spacers. I always had to take off my tires, load em up in the diesel and then take them down to discount tire. On the plus side, they usually got to them right away since they didn't have to take them off the truck. It was a prime motivator for me to get rims once I got a full time job

Interesting because that's what I always thought but he said as long as they're "bolt on" they are fine. They're not allowed to work on the ones that are an actual spacer that reduce any of the lug depth. Either way...I'm going to take them all off, inspect the spacers, and re-torque everything when I get home.

Dropped the 4Runner off at (gulp) Discount Tire for new 285/75/16 DuraTracs...I gave the salesman a long talking to (after he said he would price match the $100 off of every $400 deal) about torque specs and wheel spacers. I still want to throw up in my mouth...but I'm paying less than $800 out the door for all 4 installed.

Lugs were all over tightened so removed all 4 tires and re-torqued , spacers looked unharmed but I have extra lugs and an extra set just in case. I did discover some play in driver front wheel bearing so that’ll be next on the maintenance list

Tires look real good. We need to get another TOR wheeling meet going to see how they perform.

I have 4 made in USA, one in Brazil
