Finishing up mounting and then have to run a power cable to the switch in the cab. Overall I am pretty happy with it. I will see how well it works as a spot/flood combo tonight.

You can also use AIN16T. Don't ask me what the difference is. Just know that they should be interchangeable.

I would not use that. Differences are listed below and huge IMHO. Chrome is poop in the rust belt (although harder) & the load ratings aren't even close to similar and use different testing methods (no clue which is better for our uses). TC uses WSSX16T now so I'd trust them. In a pinch on the side of a trail - I'd use either. For anything else I'd pass. For all I know the AIN could be what TC used to use that only lasted me 3 months before becoming rusted junk. The WSSX has lasted me years.

I wish I recalled what I put in them last time... its been almost 5 years to the month since I replaced them. 99% sure it was the stainless ones from TC.

Been working on the tow pig getting the last of the maintenance items done hopefully. Replacing fuel lines from the bowl to the heads, deleted the in line fuel check valves, installed new high flow banjo bolts, installed a fuel rail crossover, replaced EPB sensor and tube, installing the high pressure oil crossover, and replaced all the orings on the fuel bowl connections. Waiting on two more parts to be delivered before I can button it up, for now it's in a million pieces :buenrollo:

Ordered a new unit bearing assembly and new pads and rotors. Was just thinking to myself (wow its been a long time since I've done a brake job on this thing... and wow these unit bearings have lasted 2 years).. then I pulled into Home Depot and hear a growling as I braked. Figure its time. I have a spare unit bearing assembly already so I got a second one. I didn't want to get in there and discover both bad... so screw it. Cheap (ok not real cheap) insurance.

Brakes? How do you still have brakes after the horrible things done to them in the Ozarks hauling but on those road with the trailer? I need to pull my 4Runner pads and see what they look like. I am not impressed with my current brake performance. I put new pads and rotors on a month before the Ozark trip.

I bet my brakes have over 40k on them.. its been a long time. Curious to see the pads when I pull them this weekend.

What pads are you replacing them with? I am thinking EBC Yellowstuff for my 4Runner. Amazon has them for $116 with prime shipping.

I did the exact same setup I have now, Powerstop Z36 kit. Worked pulling that trailer up and down some crazy shit in Arkansas along with already have 35k miles on them when I did so.
