Make sure your CV axle nut is torqued properly.

did you check torque values on all the new stuff? Sometimes they like to loosen up.

if you have soot build up you have grease exiting it and that's sometimes a sign they are starting to go.

Yes, I have checked every nut or bolt that I've touched.

Make sure your CV axle nut is torqued properly.

This is why I've been looking at torque wrenches that go up to 250 lb-ft. Mine stops at 150 and I believe the manual calls for 176 lb-ft. (odd number, but that's what sticks out in my head) I got it to 150 and then gave it a good umph more.

If it’s not a driveline or cv issue, check suspension components, problem still exist check motor/transmission mounts.

how about the carrier bearing, those things are about the worst design I've seen on a truck. They tend to get floppy and squeaky after a few thousand miles. A few things you can do to try and eliminate what might be causing the noise.

1 - remove rear driveshaft and put truck in 4wd. See if noise stays the same or goes away. That will eliminate the rear shaft
2 - jack truck up and remove the coilovers, put truck in 4wd and let truck throttle out in 1st gear. Have a buddy turn the wheel while you jack one side at a time from the LCA working the suspension full travel.

I've found that doing these two things you can find the issue 99% of the time if it is indeed a driveline issue. Other squeaks could be from body mount bushings, or the stupid dust shield rubbing on the rotor.

Might be better to get a jump on it, I only have 26k on it.

I just got this email from them tonight, funny how that works lol

Hello! This is Randy Fields, President of Filtration Solutions Worldwide. I’m sending some exciting news to all our FS-2500 customers to let you know that the kit to convert your standard FS-2500 bypass filter into a spin-on filter is almost ready to launch! The filter itself is the same great filter you have come to rely on, but now it is soon to be available as a spin on.

You don’t HAVE to switch to the spin on, but if you would like to, we have made a very simple conversion kit that will take you about 5 minutes to complete. Here is a YouTube link showing exactly how it is done:

As I said, the filter element inside the spin on is exactly the same as the canister style filter element with one exception; we have redesigned it with more surface area for longer life. Instead of 10,000 mile/ 250 hour service interval, the spin is changed at 15,000 miles/350 hours.

The spin on filters and adapter kits will ship in mid-May. We know that there is a high interest in the conversion kit so for a limited time only, we are giving our existing customers the opportunity to PRE-ORDER the conversion kit and spin-on filters at a reduced price of $149.95 for the conversion kit and $59.75 for each spin on filter.

After the PRE-ORDER time period is over, the regular price for the conversion kit will be $289.00. The regular price for the 15,000 mile/350 hour Spin-On filter will be $65.89 (still dirt cheap compared to the price of a full oil change, but $59.75 is still better of course).

The duration of the PRE-ORDER pricing will be for the FIRST 500 KITS ONLY and with over 35,000 standard units in service, the PRE-ORDER period will not last long.

Please let us know what you think and contact us if you have any questions or concerns. The FS-2500 Conversion Kit and the spin-on filters can be ordered on our website at www.fs2500.com, just click ORDER NOW (if you are using your phone, turn horizontally and the ORDER NOW button will be in the upper right corner). Just remember, this is a pre-order. Product will not ship until mid-May.

Thanks for your time. We hope to hear from you soon.

X2 @CowboyTaco I was so tired last night I forgot to add this. It's sounds like the carrier bearing. I had the same issue and couldn't find where it was coming from. @SecretSquirrel diagnosed it immediately when we were putting my truck into drive and reverse in his driveway.

The problem is the noise isn't consistent. It's happening more frequently, but not consistently. Also, the noise is a clunk and not a squeak.

I may try to put the GoPro pointed toward the center support bearing, or just hold my cell phone pointed at it, the next time I shift into reverse; and again when I start to move forward. I parked in the garage today, so I'm going to start with the suggestions of @AlienXtx first.

Alright, jacked it up got the tire spinning as fast as I could and then abruptly stopped it to change direction. Didn't hear any clunking.

Carrier bearing should be your next check. Easy enough to see if it has play.
