Finished up the boost gauge. Now everything is fully installed and tidied up. Only thing left to do is the transmission kit!

Finally finished up the PVC washer fluid reservoir install. Rerouted the wires and extended the hose from the pump to the sprayer. Work just like new just worried that the pump might be in the way of getting the skid on. If so I'll have to get a 90⁰ fitting to get the pump out of the way. I'll find out in a little bit.

Had a slight clunking noise I thought was coming from the front end that go worse after I had the front bearing replaced. So I figured the CV axle was bad. I swapped out the CV axle pretty easy but the clunking is still there. I am now wondering if it isn't a noise from the rear axle that I am just hearing from that side. I have all the seals/bearings to rebuild the axles coming in the mail. Guess I will hold off any other troubleshooting until the rear axle is done this week.

With any luck my Kings will ship this week and I can do a crap load of work on the rear axle all at once. The last email I got from Filthy said that King has had some staff and been shipping orders; but this week they are bringing back almost all staff and hitting the list hard.

Got any cameras you can mount prior to a test drive so they can record the drive? Seen a few of them help out.

When I was having similar issues with my IFS I ended up just replacing it all, but it also needed it all done (tie rods/wheel bearings/LCA bushings).

Had not thought about that; but I do have a GoPro now. If the clunking continues after rebulding the rear axle I will start there.

I stole that from the guys doing shock testing/tweaking in Rogers neck of the woods, but it will work for any clunk so long as it's something visibly moving to the camera and making a noise.

I thought about suggesting this as well.. but figured a slight clunk is gonna be next to damn near impossible to notice on a GoPro. Maybe not though, can't hurt to try.

are the zip ties permanent?

why not mount the panel closer to where the wires enter the cab? Do all Prinsu racks not come with the wind fairing? (maybe that's why you mounted it up front and the fairing just isn't installed in the pic)

Zip ties are temporary till I get up to Ace and get some proper cable keepers and hardware.
I mounted it there mostly because of how the roof is curved and when my kayak is up there the panel will have enough clearance to sit just under it. And yes there is a wind fairing just out of that picture.

Are you going to add a thin sheet of lexan?
Good luck finding a sheet of it right now. It's all been bought up to make sneeze guards.

You still having issues? Everything up here is gone baby gone.

We just got a line on 700 panels of it in MD and our drivers on the way there now.

Yep pretty much everything is gone here. Everyone needs useless sneeze guards of course.

watch out what you buy with that stuff. Some of the stuff blocks up to 98% of UV rays. Not sure what exact rays solar uses, but pretty sure UV is high up there on the list.

Similar to greenhouses - seen plenty of people put UV blocking glass into them then I do one of these:

I was just telling a co-worker to start looking for green tinted stuff like you were, then he found the 700 sheets. He's been buying stock up from everyone and anyone for weeks.
