What have you done to your ride lately?

watch out what you buy with that stuff. Some of the stuff blocks up to 98% of UV rays. Not sure what exact rays solar uses, but pretty sure UV is high up there on the list.

Similar to greenhouses - seen plenty of people put UV blocking glass into them then I do one of these:

I was just telling a co-worker to start looking for green tinted stuff like you were, then he found the 700 sheets. He's been buying stock up from everyone and anyone for weeks.
The stuff I got in was really old. I know plexi-glass has a shelf life and this was at the end of it's life for sure. But most of these sneeze guards are just temporary.

fingers crossed ......we hope

We are running them from chicago grid - floor for my financial client. They can't physically separate nor work from home so plexiglass dividors it is.

Also selling a ton of "moving writable marker boards" on wheels so people can move then where they want. Stole my design from a TX company (Claris) lol

And no I am not looking to cover the panel in lexan or anything. Its already impact resistant and if I am getting hailed on a $75 panel is the least of my concern.

Check out these guys - we just got panels from them last week.... Plastic Distribution and Fabrication Lancaster PA | Central Distribution
Thanks!

I'm going to recommend to departments that they post this sign instead of sneeze guards "STOP: Do not enter if your questions can be answered by a phone call or email. If they can, please GO BACK to your desk. If not, then please enter."

This is already posted on a couple of department's entrance doors and I think I need to post them up everywhere else.

While I had epoxy mixed, I fixed the mount for my UltraGauge. I noticed it was cracked when I went to reinstall it after having the windshield replaced.

Sanded the contact points, applied epoxy, used zip tie to hold in place. Will mount it tomorrow, I hope. Oh, and cleaned the suction cup.

I literally just threw out my old suction mount because the cup broke off and it happened to be cracked in the same place as yours. My new one arrived the day before yesterday. My pillar pod is in the way of where it used to fit so perfectly, so now I’m playing with it here to see how I like it. The wheel blocks a portion of the screen, but that’s okay. I’m gonna leave it and see if it grows on me.

I started the transmission today. Kiddy pool came in quite handy in catching all the ATF

I used to keep mine in that same location. I prefer it up between the headliner and the rearview mirror with the cable tucked up into the headliner.

New shocks are ordered. Not Kings but they're still kind of blingy. Went with Toytec Aluma Series 2.0 front and rear. The fronts are only 550lb spring rate. Called them about upgrading to 600lbs and they said they couldn't do it. They assured me that 550 was all that I needed even with the bumper. They said the design of the shock and using a longer than normal coil results in way too much lift with a 600lbs spring. So I'm throwing out some blind trust and hoping they know what they're talking about and going to give them a run. Hopefully the lower spring rate will provide a little smoother ride and not be too bouncy. Guess if they suck, I'll find someone on TW to buy them and choke up the money for Kings.

I did that with my old Fox coilovers... put 16" springs instead of 14"... more pre-load with the same "weight" shock. Putting them on was a bitch. LOL

I'll see how they do. One thing is for sure. They cant ride any worse than it currently does. Blown out shocks with no bushings in them and way too low of a spring rate. It feels like driving a Dodge with death wobble.

So I wanted some Arby's today for lunch.. decided to hit them up. Took the little one and her friend along with me. Right near the Arby's is an auto car wash. So I pull in, pay for the extreme wash and get on the conveyor to go through. When done we hit Arby's. As I'm in Arby's drive through I notice my hood is still dirty. So is my sun roof? So I go back after we got our food, tell the cashier chic its dirty.. she comes and looks and says to pull around and go through again. I do... but not before 3 people pull in front of me. Go through again.. still dirty.. I go back again. Show her. She says pull around and I'll write some stuff on your windshield to tell them. Ok.. starting to get pissed. Again, a couple cars get in line ahead of me. She writes.. I get up there and some kid tells another kid to use his brush to wash my hood. I roll down my window and tell him to turn on the fucking roller things that wash the hood and roof. He says "Your truck is too tall".. I call bullshit and tell him its been through that car wash 20 times. He said its an older policy that is now enforced.. I go through and at the end I still see dirt on the hood. Pissed.. kid does meet me at the end and says "Sorry misunderstanding I now know what you want.. our policy is for aftermarket lifts". So.. 4 trips through the car wash and its clean! OMG.

Kids these days are mostly dumb and lazy. Take some pride in what you are doing and look back when you are done and see that you did a good job. Not too much to ask.

The girl that wrote the stuff on the window.. OMG.. lights are on.. nobody home. My little ones friend says "Maybe she can do your homework".. I say "I bet she can.. but I bet you will fail". Just idiots.

Why the cut off? Covid?

Some gas stations here only allow me to put $50 on my corporate gas card but those days of high price gas are long gone.

I'm still burning through a tank I filled up 1-1/2 months ago. Then I have another 10 gallons I need to burn through quick that I put in cans.

Probably cut off because of the discount. I know the local stores that do the points/ discounts here have a 30 gallon max when using points to lower the price. That is when I take fuel cans to make sure I get all the discount I can. Leave nothing on the table.
