What have you done to your ride lately?

First test drive seemed like it was low on fluid. I added some more. Waiting for it to settle out of the dipstick tube (the only way to fill it) before I get another reading and see how it does.

Got everything working like it should. It ended up taking 7 quarts. Few more than expected. I've put three tanks of fuel through it si far and I'm averaging 20-30 miles more per tank. I hit 17mpg on my last tank for the first time since before I lifted it. The transmission had more slippage than I realized before the shift kit install.

they limit the amount of fuel you can get with the discount.

I didn't know Kroger was 35 gallon limit. Walmart/Murphy limits it to 20 gallons.

Why the cut off? Covid?

Some gas stations here only allow me to put $50 on my corporate gas card but those days of high price gas are long gone.

I'm still burning through a tank I filled up 1-1/2 months ago. Then I have another 10 gallons I need to burn through quick that I put in cans.
Probably cut off because of the discount. I know the local stores that do the points/ discounts here have a 30 gallon max when using points to lower the price. That is when I take fuel cans to make sure I get all the discount I can. Leave nothing on the table.
This , but for some reason when I went through to finish fueling it let me do the .40 discount again? Oh well.

I also washed it, it was filthy from just sitting. Even had a bird nest built in the grill lol

Y'all wash your trucks? :confundio1:

I landscaped my truck last year. Removed the trees out of the bed that were growing lol

My buddy did wash and compound the oxidization out of it while I was dropping the tank and finishing up the exhaust, but he never put a coat of wax on it so it's back to looking and feeling like a chalk board lol

Dropped the truck off for some PDR to fix the two spots on the driver side where I slid into the same tree twice in about 30 seconds several years ago at Bridgeport. The guy was not enthused and said he'd do the best he can but wouldn't make any promises. I assured him there was nothing he could do to make it worse and anything would be an improvement. Heck, just being able to put the fender flares back on will be worth the money.

PDR turned out decent. I'll be able to get the flare back on without having a gap. The spot in the extended cab is still a little wavy but it's the best he could do since it was partially creased and went across two body lines. Overall it was worth the $200. Got shipping notification for the shocks. The tracking number says they'll be here Sunday. Seems unlikely to me but I guess we'll see.

Had my first instance of screwy German car electronics...unplugged and replugged the chime module and everything is back to normal. The car was beeping constantly for no apparent reason

Already been a productive morning. I replaced the overly worn out bushing in the 4Runner's rear axle upper controlling arms. The Whiteline bushings installed with ease and the whole process was done in under two hours.

Got the sliders cut off the truck and getting all the primer and rust off of them to get a fresh coat of paint on them. There were also a few bare spots where the legs weld to the main tube that we couldn't get welded because of the pinch weld on the body being in the way. So I'm going to fill those in. You can tell waters even getting through and rusting the inside of the legs. A quick pass with the ID grinder took care of that though. Just need to find some 2"x.120" DOM tubing. Worst case I can order it from Ruffatuff for $12 a foot + shipping.
