What have you done to your ride lately?

wow, that's a full load. Wouldn't have been easier on a small utility trailer??
Oh definitely, but I wasn't running back to the shop to pick up one. Other the the severe squatting it was fine. Springs were good and that 3.0 diesel never missed a beat lol
I need to remove the stupid toolbox that's empty. I do t carry tools in it

Any recommendations for a drop hitch? Looking for one for my Tacoma.

I went with the Tow Smart one they sell at HD. It was missing the pin, so I got them to take 30% off it. Probably not the best drop hitch, but will serve the purpose I need it for. With a regular hitch, the trailer was scraping the driveway pulling out.

Put a way louder horn on. Factory sounded like the roadrunner.

I really haven't done anything to my truck for a long time other than in my mind.

Every time I see this ad, and I see it often ever since I bought the 10-degree shock mounts...

I've linked the rear end of my Taco. I figure, what the hell, I'm about 1/4 the way there just by putting in the new Trail Gear axle housing.

Again, all of this work has only been done in my mind.

Attempted to install motor mounts on my truck. Had a passenger side bolt snap, gave up and put it back together. I’ll deal with that if I ever pull the engine. Another bolt had serious galling as well, damn aluminum block.

Replaced my old shackle stinger with a stinger for soft shackles. Less noise and moving parts. My old setup was showing some wear from use getting dragged on trails that was starting to catch my eye as a possible problem. So I went with a full upgrade and will keep this one in the cargo area until needed.

I attempted to replace the condenser. Once again the northeast prevails. Radiator drop brackets snapped, ordered a new set from Roger Brown that’ll be here Monday.

In the mean time, I cleaned about a pound of dirt out of my radiator lol

Finished up with the condenser replacement. Rad hardware showed up today. Put in the new condenser, added 1.4 oz. of PAG 46 oil to the condenser and torqued up the new seal connections to 66 in. lbs per the FSM. Drew vacuum for about 10 minutes and let sit for 30 minutes, no further leakage, that's a bonus. I then proceeded to draw a deep 1 hour vaccum and refill with R134A, ~22 oz, the AC is now blowing cold at 42 degF

Old one was leaking towards the bottom as noted from the dye test. You can see the oil that seeped out at the bottom 1/3, note that I had the original painted black to blend in with the theme of the truck, but with the raptoroshi grill, the zinc coating does not show through so I left as is from Denso :)
