What have you done to your ride lately?

Texas sun is hard on paint, regardless of who makes it. Plus my roof has never seen that much love, even when I was washing and waxing the taco.

interesting, my paint (minus the scratches from pin striping on the trails) is still in pretty good shape.

Same.

...and mine dealt with TX sun the first 8 years and GA heat for the last 3.

I don't even want to drive it.

Has there been front end work? Pretty sure the radiator support in my Tacoma and in the old 4Runner were fully painted the color of the body. Could be wrong though.

I managed to scratch through the clear coat, paint and primer with a plastic G-shock watch on my Tacoma years ago.

Nope. Never had any collisions. At least not on the Carfax I have for it. Not sure why it's like that. Maybe because it's covered from the factory with a plastic cover?

Pictures from the auxiliary battery re-install with the new Redarc battery charger. I still need to do some cable management but its all working properly (I think) so I'll clean it up on Monday. FrontRunner ladder showed up today. It's a pain in the ass to out together but is very nice quality. Got about half of it assembled. I might get it put on before Colorado. All depends if I reinstall the roof rack before then. The slick top look is growing on me.

Looks good, I’d trim those hold down bolts I recently got stabbed by one leaning in the engine bay and cut mine maybe 1/2” past the nut.

Still haven’t fixed my 4x4 and I got stuck today. Aired down, stacked rocks, but the mud was too slick and rocks too slippery to do anything. Had to call for help 😩

Replaced blades, and ordered a new battery as well, didn't want to start after bringing it into shop, had to jump start it to mow this morning.

The best batteries I’ve found for mowers are the multi plate deep cell ones that come from power quality UPSs. They are a bit heavy due to the high amp hour rating. I used to get them for free when the electrician would do a PM on one at work. It lasted me at least 8 years and I sold it with the mower. The cheap “garden variety” (pun intended) batteries suck and last maybe one or two seasons.

Basically that is what gravely uses, sealed lead acid group U1 battery with nut&bolt terminals. I ordered this one, I will be happy if can last 4 years, the heat takes a toll on any type of batteries here.

I put a new anti-scalp wheel on my mower deck this morning. The old one was totally busted. I need to sharpen the blades but I just can’t be bothered to do it just yet…

gotcha, well for your sake I hope it lasts. Nothing worse than a battery crapping out on you when you need it to work!

I hope so and that was yesterday, did a Jumpstart and thankfully the mower puts off enough volts to engage the clutch, my other mower will not do that with a dead battery.

Had discount tire rotate and balance the Taco shoes. You have to watch those guys, make sure they fill your tires first to the pressure you desire prior to them throwing the tires up on the balancer, it does make a difference, especially if the tires require more than 5 psi increase.
