What have you done to your ride lately?

@CowboyTaco Its staying mostly stock. The suspension is tired and the leafs are flat. Its cheaper to do a small lift with OME stuff. The wheels are 3rd gen 4runner wheels so they will look stock. Grill is stock but is black so I can ditch the chrome. Headlights are foggy as shit so replacing those. Current tires are 29" and stock is 31", and new ones will be 32". Should match the 4.30 gears real nice.
After this I really only plan to add a header and get the driver seat redone.

Oh that's the easy part! Put the CV axle into a vise with the 3 little rollers facing down > push the roller down until its off center > then pop it on the bottom edge of the roller with a hammer > pick it up from across the room > rotate the CV axle in the vise so you can pop the next one off> repeat until they are all off.

They are made of a hard steel so it'll take a lot abuse. Don't overthink it. Just smack them off with a hammer.

Then to reinstall: just put it off-center > put a socket that's the same size as the outer ring > Smack it back on with a hammer.

I'll be impressed if you're actually able to break the rollers. I have way more problems with the 3-jaw when I'm trying to do it by myself than I ever have with the rollers.

Good luck on waiting for that to happen. I would sell the 4runner before this Tacoma.
Tell you what, buy that 95, I will fly with you to Sac Town, show you some cool bars and breweries there, help drive it home, but meet @TacoXpo in Death Valley to test that thing out. Also Moab is kind of on the way home so it makes sense to stop there too.

Regular cab and 5 speed is the best for a first ride. They can only have 1 passenger, and their right hand will be too busy shifting to text.

Sounds like his Taco needs an exo cage so she is safe. Be the perfect time to LS swap it so it can get out of its own way and merging onto that 85MPH tollway. Its all in the name of safety.
