That was put it together enough to get it on the trailer. Got the castle nut off but the threads got fucked when hit with a hammer.
Guess I better not quit my day job, comedy may not be my best option

plus its fucking hot out. Good call.
So much this. Fuck this heat.

Granted I spend more time outdoors, you guys made me laugh, heat index here at farm hit 114* yesterday, 111* expected today, I do limit my exposure most days between 1:30pm to 4pm during the hottest part of the day, I get tired of pissing every 20min from drinking so much water.

Im trying and vowed not to cuss the heat this year after our week of the February freeze lol, but don't jinks us again.

That's Mr Asshole to you
I have been out in this heat for the last week. Doing some yard work and re doing some stone walk ways on the side of my house that had the ground settle under them after the retaining wall was built. Granted it was after 5 each day but still plenty hot and it made manual labor suck.

Yes sir, on Tuesday when I did all my loading of trash and scrap metal and trailer runs all day, pretty sure my friend got heat exhaustion, he usually goes to the gym everyday, yesterday was his first day back to the gym. I reminded him, my gym membership is free and guarantees muscle failure, lol

I tried to call him atleast twice on Thursday, text on Friday and Saturday he finally responds, shit I thought he lost his phone lol.

I've had a cotter pin fall apart on me when I was removing it.

I remember working hay fields and cutting cedars in the summer when I was younger. I do not mind working outside a few hours a day in the heat now. I can pick when and if I want to. I was not so fortunate back then.

My wife even said the other day that she noticed I was working 12+ hours on our house when it was cooler outside. But when it was blazing hot, I made it about 5 hours at most.

A lot to be said for knowing when to work so you can work every day instead of trying to kill yourself in one day. This heat can kill a person without trying.

Yeah my buddy learned that on Tuesday.
I will have to keep this mind if someone else comes down here, especially if they dont have the heat tolerance built up.

I worked myself into hear exhaustion once when I was a teenager. I spent a day in bed and a day not leaving my house. I knew I was in bad shape when my Dad did my chores without saying anything to me.

Fixed the noise. Flathead screwdriver through the openings in the wheel to push the splash guard out. Truck is driving more smooth and quiet than it has in a long time.

The bushings on the outer tie rod ends are looking a little worn, so I'll be ordering those along with a clock spring sometime this week.

Also, AutoZone took back the Dorman LCA with no questions asked. I handed them the LCAs, they looked up my order and gave me cash back.

I painted some wheels for the 4runner. Decided to try this out before having them professionally refinished. I used Duplicolor wheel paint and clear coat. Really pleased with how they turned out.

I painted mine and they looked nice for a little while, then they looked like crap. It is a great way to see if the color looks good for a low price but I'll never paint wheels again, always powdercoat.
Nice.

Not sure if you looked into any powder coat co they should about charge $150 to sand blast and coat.
Boom bam boom
not me. I tackle projects no matter how complex and shitty, and when after I realize it’s outside my capacity, it sits on jack stands for several months until I can regain composure lol
This is me also
All Oils, filters and $422 later.
It will be nice to be on concrete, once I get a shop built here at farm in about ~ 5 years.

What are your service intervals? I need to check my Kubota book but I've been lazy.

Your gonna have to look in your book, mine is more frequent than what the Kubota intervals recommend, it's all based how you use your machine, the environment it is in and the type attachments used on it.

Depends on what trans you have as well, the HST has it's own oil change intervals compared to if you have a typical clutch setup. From what I remember when I changed mine after break in, the HST had two filters as well, one for the hydraulics and maybe a finer one for the transmission even though the fluid is common between the two. If you use alot of hydraulic implements you probably should service more often vs. just using the PTO connections.
