Tommy want wingy..
Got the 2rz to fire up before my trip to Chicago. It needs a little fine tuning and hopefully is good to go. It sounds pissed off straight piped.
About the only thing I’d buy right now would be the half ton GMC with the 3.0 Duramax and even that I’m not completely sold on. But there’s nothing else short of a 3/4 ton I’d even consider. Hopefully the F150 will hang in there until something comes to market that is worth a damn.Feel the same way. Only truck I'd want right now is a F250/F350 but I don't want to pay that price or the price per gallon for diesel.
I have the 275, maybe? Had it my other 4runner. It worked well so there is that.Which Midland did you end up with?
I didn't get a lot done. Sorta worn out. I did use my Dymo Rhino 5200 and make some labels for all (I think) of the wiring going into the 12 bank Blue Sea fuse block in the bed.
Hard pass on any GMC/Chevy product. I can't even imagine their quality control right now post covid. It was bad enough pre-covid.About the only thing I’d buy right now would be the half ton GMC with the 3.0 Duramax and even that I’m not completely sold on. My nephew's 2019 Colorado is falling apart around him. Tail lights going out, A/C had to replaced, he's on his second set of injectors (which are giving him problems right now), etc... His transmission is currently going out right now, (I don't think he has 5th gear anymore IIRC).
Yeah my buddy just got rid of his wife's 2015 Expedition for a Raptor. That Expedition was nickel and diming him to death as well. This is how I feel about our Expedition.

All I can think about is how miserable it’s going to be moving in a couple of weeks. Almost wanna pay a moving company again but there’s downsides to that as well. Will probably just do it myself slowly. Not like we’re in a hurry to get everything out of the storage unit anyway.Fuck its miserable.. managed to put some terminals on a couple 4 gauge wires for the batteries. My "give a fuck" bucket is EMPTY!
And I bet it has rear disc brakes tooThe frames are pretty solid though.![]()

Everything is already packed up in the storage unit. If I have a company do it they’ll just be moving everything from the storage unit to the house. Not sure I want everything at the house right away though. Would be nice to leave it all in the storage unit and move it slowly over a couple of weeks. It’s only 2.5 miles from the house so not like it’s a big deal to do a little at a time. Just hot. Only big items I have that I’ll need help with are the gun safe, bed, and the refrigerator. Not sure it’s worth $1200 to have someone else move it all.The U-Haul U-Box was the most affordable option when we moved. The boxes are smaller than pods, but they operate the same way. They drop off some boxes, you fill them, they pick them up.
I just had back surgery from an injury caused by moving back in February…You still have a young back. I refuse to move anything myself or assist in moving anyone else’s stuff.
