nice looking skids, by TC I'm guessing they are the Total Chaos ones?

I know that Ricochet (http://www.utahsportcycle.com/store/page346.html) makes aluminum ones for the FJ.

How much did they set you back btw?

Yup Total Chaos for $125. Those aluminum skids are nice especially for the money. Downfalls of them are: you can't weld aluminum to steel and aluminum is much softer. I got mine so in the future I can get them welded to the LCA....just not these LCA's

Otherwise, I would have some of those skids! :D

Oh yeah - that's 1/4 inch plate on the bottom of those puppies!

I got my shovel and for extinguisher mounted using then quick fist, still have three of the small ones left and one big one that I'm going to be using to hold my nitrogen tank in place. I also got my rear seat covers in, ill post pics tomorrow when I have some light.

please do.

I spent the afternoon debating fire extinguisher mounting locations and options.

I use to have the extinguisher hanging were the head of the shovel is, but the vibration was breaking the metal strap that held it in place. If you use these rubber fists you wouldn't have that problem. I chose to put it here because the nitrogen tank will be right next to it and my strap/shackle can next to that.
The directions on the package says if you use three of the small fists you can mount a highlift jack, so I may do that.

I think the weight of a jack may be a bit much for the quick fists.

BTW: you may want to pick up some sheet rubber and glue some on the bottom of that extinguisher, and any other contact points it may have with the bed.

Nothing is more annoying than a vibe or rattle to me...

yeah no joke, I thought it was funny they had that on the package, one trip down my road and the jack would be laying in the bed...lol
I plan on doing some rubber under both the extinguisher and the nitrogen tank. I have some rubber mat at the shop.
