Yup cone washers suck. Get some PB blaster and let it soak in over night will make tomorrows efforts much easier.

I had to fight mine too, use the brass drift method.

You are supposed to run the nut down to the end of the stud, to where they are flush. Use a brass or soft punch and smack the end of the stud with a hammer until it pops loose. I had good luck using a 1" od piece of brass stock about 12" long.

I tapped the sides of the hub with a rubber mallet to get them free. Drew your hubs just don't leak enough lube to keep those cone washers free. LOL
