We will have to see how the first one comes out. I am determined to make a reliable IFS rig, and have spent countless hours reading up on all of the weaknesses and how to fix them. If you wheel your IFS too hard you will bend the mounts for the back of the LCA's. All of this in preparation for the Blazeland kit.
BTW, off topic, something cool is going to happen tomorrow....the FINAL payment on my Tacoma is being drafted from my checking account. It had less than 5 miles on it when I drove it off the lot & I have been paying on it for 5 years, it has approx 61,457 miles on it now. Toyota says it will be 11 business days before I get my title. I am pretty stoked about it.

Start cruising craiglist for a trailer, I've seen some really nice ones go for not too much here lately. But first and foremost I say get it up and running, no sense in spending money on a trailer if there is nothing to tow.

Not exactly, at the moment it is NOT street legal at all, but would prob. only take a couple hundred to get it there. I would need to register, insure and get it inspected at minimum. It would likely need a trip to the exhuast shop to pass inspection, and would really need to be regeared (which it needs either way) to drive it to meets. With the stock gears, 33's and auto trans sucking the power out of it I could likely barely maintain 55mph heading to a meet. There for I could only really drive it to BVORR. I really want to be able to take it to HF, Barnwell, Longs or where ever else the group is headed. Being as I have no street miles on it at this point I wouldn't have enough faith in it to drive that kind of distance. Again, all it would take to make it driveable to meets is some time and money thrown towards making it more reliable and comfortable - but then Keith would make fun of me!
Maybe If I could get a good trailer on the cheap then I could do both. I have mainly been eye balling new trailer, in the $1500 range. I really like Todd's! Seems that maybe I have set my standards for one a little too high?

Maybe so. That thing is pretty freaking awesome, but is probably alot more trailer than you need to the ole creampuff. You'll probably want a tandem axle with brakes and you're set.

Todd's is nice but I've seen some equilavents go for around the 1000 mark 16-18' metal decks with dovetails

Those all look good, but I need to find a better deal. That $1000 that the CHEAPEST one cost is the same dough as the Blazeland LT kit.

^ it really is a hard choice. What is the point of buying the LT kit if I cannot get the 4runner to the off road park? What is the point of buying a trailer if there is nothing to tow? I guess the ideal way to go would be to find a $500 trailer, even if it needs a little work and spend the same $500 on a few essentials for the 4runner. Problem is where can I find a $500 trailer that is not a total pile of shit.
