I've to several axles one p drop d44 full width, p drop 10 bolt, driver drop built d44, 14 bolt ff rear, 14 bolt sf rear, d60s ff rear 30 spline, driver drop np241, passenger drop np241 with electric vss, 203/205 divorced doubler, tbi350, 700r4 trans, th400 trans, and many numerous suspension parts

You just need some tube for a frame and motor to have a bad ass wheeling machine with front and rear steer. Why not?

More parts were installed tonight - the radio speakers were all reconnected and the CB was physically installed. It only lacks wire which will be handled with the fuse box soon.

Better pic of the convertor to let the CB antenna run for both the radio and CB.

Fuse block has been installed, CB radio hooked up, and the radio/CB antenna tested - everything works great. Next up - rock lights?

This one is supposed to have everything to include the factory wiring with it.

Second thought - it would save a crap load of time to have the 4.10 gears from my current 3rd put on the locker 3rd. I DD this rig enough to appreciate the better MPGs of the 4.10s and will not be going over 32s as long as it is a DD.

I wouldn't think the 4.30s would hit you very hard mpg wise if at all also I didn't think the v6 and e-locker gears were interchangeable something about the carriers having a different break for the ring gear

possible switch install.

For the gear/pinion swap - best info I can find on ECGS is the gear/pinion is the same. The difference is the 3rd member where the housing fits into the axle. They both show to be an 8" third member.

If I can get the gears swapped and skip half a day's work + oil/gaskets/grease of swapping the front clamshell - you are damn right I will. I have better things to do.

Hopefully this weekend it will move over to the done list.

I have a ton of stuff to do house and auto, I actually need to start a list for those DHDA dyslexia moments

After more thorough research and comparing gear ratios with a calculator online it looks like I am going to install the 4.30 gears and expect to jump up to 33s or 34s my next tire purchase.

On the left is 4.10s vs 4.30s on the right with the tires I am running currently; 265x75-16s. Gears were compared at Grimm Jeeper.
