I have a few different breaks over the years on my hands/wrist/fingers. Not sure where it's located at on your hand, but I would wear some sort brace at least at night.

I agree. If nothing else it'll keep me from using my right hand to grab a beer out of the fridge, which I just tried to do and it hurt.

Let pain guide you? ha I never had a doctor tell me that. Usually it was "stop doing that" and "where is your cast?"

Damn man, yeah I'd say you need to replace some gaskets. That being said I do to as well... although not nearly that bad.

So I had the gaskets replaced, had a shop do it a couple months back. I would have liked to do it myself, but I didn't have the time.

Same boat I was in. I had Toyota replace mine while they were doing the driveshaft U-joint recall.

It has the capability to change things up. We'll see how it works out. Definitely easier to carry gear, maybe even both kayaks on top of the lid.

I've read it does ok, not 100%.
