I opted to have the dealership do that one for me. I've read the how to articles and just decided against it.

You could just do a drain and fill of what's in the pan at some kind of set interval. That would technically flush it, but might take a while and a lot of getting under there.

I need to do my transmission sometime soon.
This is something I'd have a reputable mechanic shop do or the stealership. The stealership will only change it if you tell them the transmission is shifting rough. They firmly believe that the oil is supposed to stay in for the lifetime of the transmission...

Smart Lexus tech I know and spoke to many moons ago recommended all Toyota intervals be cut in half if wheeling or towing. He's a pretty smart guy and wheels pretty hard so Ive always trusted his opinions.

When my pig gets up and running she will be put into the shop for a tranny fluid swap.

Go talk to Robbie. His friend Brian Asher hooked us up with a complete B&G Fluids trans flush. ZERO issues.

Got the Lock N Roll hitch on. I goofed and ordered the wrong size wheel adapters for Toyota rims, new ones might be in next week.

Would like to see that hitch in action. Have you done anything else to the trailer yet?

I've put the RTT on it is all. Mostly due to laziness in not wanting to swap the rail positions, the tent will open to the rear of the trailer. Not sure how well I'll like it, but we'll see next weekend how well it does. If I don't like, the next tent (upgraded size) will open to the side.

I have looked at the rear opening setups; and I see both ways working. If you use the cover from under the tent with an awning you really gain a lot of covered space. I am curious to see your results though.

My main concern is stability, with the trailer not hitched to the truck.

I like the attention to detail of putting spring gates on the chain hooks. Can't tell you how many times Ive seen them bounce out w/o gates.

What adapters did you go with?
