But at that sentiment why buy shocks from them in the first place?

I wouldn't. Truth be told Ive only bought suspension through DSMS. I have no idea if King or Fox would rebuild my suspension, but I'd also never send it to them ~ Only DSMS.

Never had any issues with DSMS and they back up every product they sell with their own warranty. They cost more than some shock warehouse, but you have to pay for service/warranty/free re-valve/professionals who know their shit.
Each time Ive added suspension I was "pushing" limits DSMS was not accustomed to and each time we spoke about the suspension in length/depth and I wrote them reviews of it all so they could get good feedback and measurements. Sonny was the man - not sure if he's still there.?.

I am thinking about camping out at the park on Saturday night if the weather is decent. Anyone else game?

I would not get there until an hour or so before they close the gates.

Update: I just checked out the weather forecast - there better be a cool front come through for me to camp.

So how does the RTT help with heat? I know camping on the ground would be brutal in 90+ degree temps. I am guessing that since the RTT is up higher it catches more breezes? But the windows are limited... I know I'll find all this out in due time once mine arrives (tomorrow but probably won't pick up until Friday). I just know they are predicting triple digits temps by the end of the week and its hot as fuck now.

I will have to defer to @SecretSquirrel for more info. I did notice a better breeze/wind in the RTT than on the ground. The windows were left completely open without any issues in the bad weather so it would take some pretty crazy weather or bad temps to make me close them up.

Now 100 degree temps are another issue.

It could be damn hot for sure but we'll have to wait and see. If they allow you to camp on top of the tall hill with the pavilion on it that would be THE spot. It's always pretty windy up there. You could go to one side or the other to catch the breeze doing some weird velocity load (if that's a term) off the side of the incline depending on which way the wind was coming from. Good view up there too.

Yeah the wife was saying we need to go test it out one night but that won't be until at least the 23rd (gets inspected on the 21st) so its just gonna be too hot IMO.

I think they require all camping to be in the parking area; but will confirm this.

Does this mean you are coming up here for this to shake down the trailer?

This reminds me we need to start a betting pool on when you will cut your way out of the RTT.

I was just asking a question. @thekidcatcher was the one poking fun at you. We all know you like drinking all day and passing out in your tent to cut a hole in it while we throw dry ice bombs at your tent.

Well as you may or may not recall... when the dry ice bomb went off I was never even awoken. :) And I never cut my way out of that tent. To be honest, non of you fuckers have ever seen me cut my way out of tent as it was way back when you just web-wheeled. ;) Now I just attempt to setup a tent and sleep in the truck with the AC on all night. lol

Why would driving drunk and recklessly be a measure of wheeling experience? and are we talking Tacos or pure offroad rigs? Plus you can always change it! Come out and wheel! We miss the silverback on the trail lol

Shit I miss hanging and wheeling with all you guys. I know some here I haven't ever even wheeled with. Some have even disappeared :(. I drove by your exit the other day and was about to call you but I had kinda cut off the top of my pinky finger so I needed to get back to Waco to fix it lol
