F that noise. You will never see me moving down that way now. All I like in winter is snow and all I like is summer is water thats safe from predators.

Up here in the NE I only have to worry about poison snakes, bears, bobcats, phat women, gay men, Lynx, Cougar, Wolves, and Moose. Coyotes like to surround us at night, but they are not a worry. Waking up to sticky hammocks and tent zippers suck.

Also, how many people have CB? Worth buying a handheld unit for these trips? I'm planning on doing a permanent Ham installation down the road, but that's a ways off.

I have a mounted CB and a handheld. The mounted one works pretty good. The handheld is okay for this kind of stuff but not much more.

Nope, I only have one. X-rays proved it. And I've never had any removed It's not super common but is possible. Kind of like having extra ribs. Which I also have. Guess I'm just a mutant.

I have two in my lower jaw that the only way to get them out is to cut my jaw in half. No thanks. So far so good.. knock on wood.
