Yeah Roger turned me on to Big Agnes bags. You can thank him once you try them out. You won't turn back. It's like an ARB fridge. Not cheap. But worth every penny.

Love my BA bag. It is the hog park. I use a sleeping I got from academy. It's their private label but works great. Think it's 4" thick. Fits like a glove and was only $40.

I think two of mine are the Hog Park as well.. 20 degree bags. The one I got for my little one is the Lily, its basically a smaller Park series. It is very nice and with the Nemo pad in it its like a bed, but still likes her Hello Kitty bag better and doesn't understand why she can't that one camping.

You guys need to get off the ground...and I'm not talking RTT. I know it could be hard for some of you that camp in barren land, but no issues finding trees around here for me.

I started getting all my new gear handmade by small specialty companies. No more large companies that have child labor building their products in some third world country. Want something custom? No problem, Just ask. Same guy made my top quilt, under quilt, and my hammock. Everything was made in the good ol USA.

I like hammocks well enough but my back is too fucked up to sleep in them. I feel better after sleeping on the ground than I do sleeping in a hammock or even a bed for that matter

I sleep flat. Not sure what kind of hammock you have been in the past, but they are nothing like they used to be or like those crappy white rope ones everyone thinks of when they think hammock. My back actually feels better after a few days of hanging than in my own bed. Prob because blackout drunk in hammock

That is some nice gear they make. But I'm not a hammock fan.

Their sleeping bags are crazy warm. No zippers and plenty of room. Don't need to use them only in hammocks.

It's still not flat, but my back doesn't mind.

I have a friend that back packs with one. Weighs a pound and he sleeps at an angle so that he can lay flat. He made it himself.

Im totally with you. I got that DPX as a gift to myself since my work gave us Amazon gift cards as Christmas gifts 2 years ago. Normally I would not buy a knife over $100 but it is a very nice tool and has opened me up to the idea of buying one of their folders.
