A bear still going to chew up your cooler if it's not 10ft off the ground.

A $50 cooler and cayenne pepper is All I need.

Speaking of beers, I'm hoping they repopulate the LA area with Grizzly Bears. :) It would thin out their herd.

Shshs don't tell anyone.

I got tired of glamping. The pure weight/cost of gear, the time to pack/unpack, and how it limited my actions was pretty ghey for what I want to do int he locations I want to go. Decided to take a different approach with thoughts of being mobile/self sufficient for a minimum of 7 cold winter days and only 30# of gear on my back. Plan is to be able to drive/park just about anywhere and hike to a good spot for some stealth camping. My Taco draws unneeded attention.

My new set up for camping/hiking/yakking. Low was 5* on this trip at night. About 15* in the day.
