Those are nice. If they were maybe $35-40 with the mounts.

Can't thoose be used with gas? Just different seals?

I have a couple of the same in tan. I don't think I would use them for gas. There really isn't much of a seal (none that I can recall) and a good hit will open them up. I popped the top off one in the 4Runner.

Nice, I've been going minimal lately myself

Can't beat it. Now my camp pack is also my bug out pack.

I still like the glamping... Whiskey weighs a lot

Why drink and drive when you can smoke and fly... :shifty:

Shit someone did hack Dyobs account!!!

:)

Looks to a perfect way to "get lost and away from it all". Nice!

If the car had a few more inches ground clearance it would be great. Also why I didn't get the SUV version ~ I'd wheel the piss out of it and destroy it. Ill save those type of trips for the Tacoma.

Kept me nice and warm! Nose goes from frozen and clogged to dripping and clear in seconds. It's freeze dried from some hippies in Austin. Good stuff!

Maybe we need a minimalist camping section? Not joking

Yeah now I need to drive two vehicles to carry my gear. LOL

When it comes to taking the family camping I always have to take the trailer, if for no other reason than the 4 bicycles. We are the exact opposite of minimalist campers. I have acquired a metric shit ton of camping gear in the last year. Going this weekend so I'll get some pics.

Or a trailer. Why haven't you built one of those yet?

Good question... no good answer. I was going to sell the trail rig and then use that garage space to build a trailer but I've since decided to keep the trail rig. I suppose I could build it smaller than anticipated with a removable tongue so it takes up less space? Its a want but not on the priority list I guess.

Wow, same!

Great minds think alike... Actually it wasn;t my intent, but after getting all my gear in my pack I thought - well thats a great bug out bag if I ever saw one. Of course if shit hit the fan I'd have to add some guns & ammo because nazi state

Not a bad idear. I picked up some good info/gear in the past year. Most won't apply to you heat mongers but I'm sure you guys could teach me a thing or two about hydration in a desert :) I can't go 20 miles without hitting a lake or stream around here.

I love minimalist camping. When I go that route, I don't bring a sleeping bag or tent. And I've done that in winter too. :) Layers and no luxuries other than no heavy pack to carry. I'll post pics next time I do it. :)

My idea of minimalist camping is using the tent cot and only bring one case of beer. :D

I finished the rack to mount my bed rack & RTT onto my small trailer and was dying to try it out. We had reservations to go camping at Lake Somerville State Park this weekend but they were cancelled due to the flooding there so we ended up going to visit some friends in Willis instead. They have a nice piece of property and a house / shop we could retreat to if the weather got bad (and it did). I still need to figure out how to set up the annex just right, but the tent slept good and handled the weather awesome.

Looks good Rob. Is maybe the tent a couple inches too close to the ground for the Annex to be tight??

Yup, I'm working on that. Built the rack before I had the annex in hand. If I make it any taller then it won't fit in the garage when closed so I will have to make it adjustable somehow.
