I found it in a trip thread on Expo. All I know is that the rig has a 5.3 Vortec in it with a 4L60E. Have not looked for his build thread yet.

Could not locate a build thread on Expo but found a for sale ad for it. Just says custom mounting system. It looks like some holes cut into the side of the bumper and not sure if it is sleeved or if there is another support down inside the bumper.

Looks really simple to build couple of sleeves welded to your bumpers and some 1.75 .12 wall time for the out riggers. As long as the wheelbase is long enough should work great

I like the idea a lot. Add an awning from the roof rack and that is a nice set up.

well between rigs would differ as the rigs tend to differ in position from one day to the next

I've seen that tent... I see a HUGE design flaw though. The door opens up.. So if it's raining you are getting wet when you enter or exit the tent. Unless it's under a tarp or similar. Check out Jet tents.

A friend of a friend who is a total scumbag told me those were very easy to pick when they first came out.

Either way and whatever you buy locks only keep honest people out.

I can promise you that the masterlocks I have will be easier then those boltlocks to pick. All you hope for is to slow them down for a minute and like you said, to keep honest people honest
