That is good info to know for future use.

This is also why when I go camping the best spots are "reserved" yet no one shows up. System is flawed. I miss the old first come fist served. I have done the same and just not showed up vs cancel.

on my trip 4 weeks ago it was first come first serve. Also free to camp and shoot in NY public range

Wally adding more and more everyday.

Wally bought and owns moosejaw, Patagonia and The North Face brands.

Well that sucks. Hope they don't mess with Patagonia's quality. I buy some of their items when they are left over on super sale. I like their Nano Puff vests and jackets. Super light and pack-able with insulation that stands up to being wet. Typically use them in winter when kayaking. North Face lost me many years ago when they decided to sell to the masses and trade quality for market share. Been using Marmot instead of NF for the past couple years with good luck so far.

You're gonna yell at me, but have you looked at Arc'Teryx stuff before? Yeah it's expensive but the quality is awesome and it comes with a lifetime fix or replace warranty (as it should for that price).

They bought Moosejaw last year, they don't own Patagonia or The North Face. They just didn't have access to those brands until they bought Moosejaw.

I hope Moosejaw doesn't go to shit, I like a lot of their branded apparel

Yes that’s correct. read to quick or not e-nuff pictures were proved.

Oddly enough I can understand the reasoning behind that ruling. Being homeless means they do not have an "indoors" to sleep in. Shelters will not always have room or allow them in there. It is like banks charging people an over draft fee - no shit; I am out of money and now they took more. Surprise - still out of money.

Sad but true.. we give to the world before taking care of our own. We still do it... we don't learn.

Fix the mental health "system" so our sick aren't living on the streets...../ of problem.

The other 10% that are just lazy hippy's - Ive got no issues ticketing them. I have to walk through bum piss and poo + needles all day at some of my jobsites. It's so bad we actually have a forman nicknamed bum piss because he thought he was splashing around in a puddle of rainwater when it turned out to be bum piss. He's forever bum piss to everyone now. Got another of my workers nick named bum shitz. He wasn't jumping around in it, but stepped right into a huge pile of it with both shoes. Now he's forever bum shitz.

Ego finally did it and came out with a power inverter to run off their batteries. Hmm now do I really need this or just want this? It would make a hell of a home setup for power loss situations.

Yeah; really looks like it is intended for lighting, USB charging, and maybe a small fan. Considering the power of the batteries it should last for days at that rate. I am now curious if they are going to later release a larger W setup.

Ummm little pricey?

Thats list price. Think they go for 1200. All said and done people much smarter than me did the math and with the li-on batteries they are "cheaper" in the long run when compared to older battery tech. Think it lasts 2-3x longer or handles that many more charges. I can't realy remember. I was researching power supplies a year or two ago when I was budgeting myself a remote off grid cabin and this one beat anything by any other major manufacturer. Seems to be what all the people living in their vans are using.

You posted that in the wrong thread. Let me help you out.

That internal Li battery is about the size of motorcycle battery, I could build one those units at a 1/4 or 1/3 of cost they charge, of course I need somewhere to buy time...

Pure Capitalism at its best. Take a bunch of components, do some R&D, put them together, test them, market them, then sell baby sell.

Pretty good write up about them with videos and comparison charts here: ► WARNING! READ BEFORE YOU BUY | Kodiak Solar Generator Vs...

I'm done with lead acid batteries for anything but vehicles. Also stopped buying AA, AAA, C, D, 9volt throw away's years ago. Going full retard on rechargeable batteries, but not rechargeable gear. Some of my friends are going 100% rechargeable devices, but I like being able to use standard sized batteries for ease of finding another power source if my rechargeables take a crap in an apocalyptic type setting. Only things I have that are rechargeable are a radio, cell phones, and a small power bank for camping that charges my cell phones and radio lol.
