?? Maybe, I did watch a review and they said the same.. just does not maintain temp as close. Its like plus or minus 6 degrees. It will be fine. The ARB is still cooling off, down to 35 degrees. I did look up a few of the parts to repair it should I decide to troubleshoot and dig more into it. The most $$ that I would want to swap out was the condenser control unit and it was $320

Sold mine for $40 in garage sale, i had it plugged in, and told them it was stuck in deep freeze mode.

Got the ARB down to 32 degrees.. set its temp to 34.. it shut off. Lets see how it does.

Threw about 18 room temp 12oz water bottles in the ARB. Took a while but she kicked on, using 40-49 watts. Not bad... not great. Will be interested to see how the Iceco does.

Well the ARB seems to be working fine on 12v power. Iceco is as well. ARB is sipping on power now, 30 watts.. 2.5 amps. I'll try it on 120 later on.

Well the ARB will not run on 120 volt. Tried it with multiple cords... including the same one that was charging the Ecoflow.

Fuck me running... I checked the fuse on the ARB (its for the 120v) and it was good so I thought "Well she is toast".. I put that fucking fuse back in and for shits and giggles I plugged it into the wall. Fucker works! Looks like I have a spare fridge. Time to get to working on this trailer again.

I think I'll just leave the ARB in the garage for now. Not sure I trust it 100% just yet.

I "think" the reason it was cutting out was that during the trip it got pushed into the back of the rear seat and it was overheating a bit. Its the only thing that makes sense. I noticed the vent cover that is closest to the back seat is a little warped. Might be due to heat?? Not sure. It just might live out its life as a beer fridge in the garage and never see another 12v option.

Well.. wrong again. Now its not running on 120v. Pulled the fuse and its fine. I suspect its something in that connection. I'll fuck with it later.

I picked up a 10 amp 12v power supply, plugs into the wall and has a typical 12v receptacle. I plugged the ARB into it and its working still.

you need to go through and check the power supplies using this guy and see what might be the issue, seems like it might be intermittent though which can make it tough

That is the exact troubleshooting guide I was using. It's for sure intermittent. It's been running on 12v all day. Just does not like 120v. Which is sorta ok now that I have this 12v power supply. I was looking at the trailer and places to mount it and run it off 12v. So maybe in reality its days off 120v are over? There is this part which is next in line for a 120v failure, and at $53 bucks it is worth it if its failed. Next is a $370 component which if all it gets me is ability to run off 120v I'll pass.

Oh and I'll be honest... my level of troubleshooting on this has been minimal. Once it was running I said fuck it.

Update on the ARB fridge running on 12v... still running.

Built a poor mans Solo Stove using $36 in WalMart.com stainless pots, some $14 stainless feet, a stainless grate I had laying around and some other random crap laying around. About $50 in it. Anyhow, so far so good. As long as the fire is below the lip of the pots its fairly smoke free.

Picked up a Ignik Fire Can "Deluxe" with some lava rocks... also grabbed an 11lbs tank and PowerTank holder for it. FireCan was on sale for 33% off.
