Ok, made a couple changes to the water filter setup. 1st I swapped out the water pump. The one I had was not adjustable for PSI, and it just pumped too many GPM. Even though the box said 1.3 GPM it was at least 2. I want the water to go through the UV filter a little slower so it has more time to do its thing. The new one I picked up is adjustable for pressure and I dialed it down quite a bit. Secondly I added stainless clamps on both sides of the pump. Previously I only had them on the pressure side but I discovered that it was sucking a small amount of air from the feed side and over time it was causing the filter housing to fill with air. So with the new pump in place and clamps installed I did a fill test, it took just a little over 5 minutes to fill a 5 gallon container. Ran the pump long enough to cycle close to 20 gallons of water and used 1 "bar" off the Milwaukee 5AH M18 battery, also had the lights on which don't really draw shit. I do have a slight leak on the input side of the first filter housing, not enough to worry about. It made a "puddle" the size of a 50 cent piece after a 5 gallon transfer. I may seal it up with some silicone later. Not enough to give a shit at the moment. I also picked up 4 water test kits which will test for bacteria to EPA standards, each test takes 48 hours to complete. Now to get some nasty water to test with.
