That's Mr Asshole to you
When I did a new plug on my Tacoma like that it was not color to color. I think about half the colors matched and took some back and forth and internet search to figure it out.

These are good references to have, I wired my 7 way to the "traditional" socket and cut the wires at the broken Toyota T12 trailer socket to keep the pigtail.

I'll be hooking the trailer up in about an hour, so I'll get to test and make sure that everything is working properly. I'll test it with the 7-4 pin adapter and also the 4 ping on the new connector just cause.

Next up on the priority list is going to be the leaf springs. I hauled a treadmill back from my in-laws house over the weekend and the rear end sagged more than I'd have liked. The treadmill is heavy, but still...

Also, @TacoXpo asked about the sound dampening in another thread. I couldn't really tell much of a difference at first, but I definitely could tell on the longer drive. I've got the sound deadening mat on all 4 doors, under the carpet in the front and on the back wall + closed cell foam on all 4 doors and under the carpet in the front. I still need to do the closed cell foam on the rear wall and do both under the carpet in the rear. The combo of the sound deadener and the non-aggressive (quiet) AT tires was definitely noticeable on the 5 hour drive both ways.

Leaf springs or air bags?

I've got the D29XL AAL for the Dakar pack along with a 3* shim to hopefully correct the vibe. Going to swap sides that the springs are on to hopefully correct the Taco lean.

I haven't found an airbag solution that works with a U-bolt flip kit.

Trailer lights worked perfectly. My wife is actually who hooked the trailer up. I laughed when I saw that she used the 7pin to 4blade adapter instead of the 4blade that is now part of the connector. :D

Whatever. The lights worked.

This looks a little janky but function over form lol

Are you running the Dakar leaf pack?

Was that fabbed or purchased?

Are you running the Dakar leaf pack?

Yes. The older model. Can't think of the model number right now, but it is not the EL096R or whatever the current one is. CS047R maybe?

That looks scarier than my prototype inverted bump stops, but it does give me some ideas how I might make mine better. What company made that? I wanna see what kinda reinforcement they added to the bump stop plate on the frame

Translation: that looks scary as hell. Where can I get one?

They are firestone ride-rite airbags paired with a daystar cradle, don't think any reinforcement on the bump stop plate was added 😮

I guess I need to look at how that setup is again....I thought the U-Bolt flip kit made it so that the cradle couldn't be mounted.

The top plate on my U-Bolt flip kit isn't sunk down like that though. It is flush with the top of the pack.

I think his U-bolt "flip" is actually Ubolt kit for SUA setup, he did some research to get all the parts lined up, and it seems to be working well.
