Anyone else have issues with their Fire TV or Fire Stick randomly dropping audio? The one in my living room is trouble free. The one in the bedroom (newer) will sometimes have no audio when I switch from one streaming all to another. There's no pattern I've noticed so I don't think it's a particular app and it doesn't do it all the time. Restarting the device fixes it.
It's probably just on the fapping content? Go back to the living room! lol ;)

I end up rebooting the Fire stick about once a week.

Elect company and fiber company struck a deal, I now see fiber rolled up on the electric poles at the end of my street, holy crap!

Got rid of cable when we moved into the new house last February. So glad I did it. I really dont watch TV at all anymore. Wife watches stuff on my moms slingtv account everyonce in a while. Easiest $60/mo I've ever saved.

We were using Kodi on the firestick to watch movies but I may have got a Copy Right Strike...

Is their any free VPNs that cover the firestick?

Morning Glory was one of those Pioneer towns - we've had it for years - I just don't feel the need to have a high bill! lol :)

Well it’s the only choice, cause RF type internet sucks, satellite dosnt work, 50yr old phone lines, no cable companies here.

Nice.. my hood was built (started to be built) about 5 years ago. Houses are some of the more $$ in the area. Fucking cheap ass developer did NOT include fiber in the plan. :( i have 1Gb internet via cable. Wish it was via fiber.

Phone bill now half what it used to be, when I ordered a sim card for one of my sons phone, it was shipped to me in an AT&T envelope, so I ordered 2 more for mine and the Laundry Fairy's phone. The cost to switch was $10.81 per phone plus pre-paid of the billing cycle, no other activation charges because I used the military vendor on base.

If you use a Cricket vendor not on base it would cost ~$10.81 for a sim card and ~$25 to 35 activation per phone.

We now have fiber up in running in our hood, it's a really big deal, because the only so-called reliable internet service is either RF or LTE antennas. The RF and LTE have slow periods during peak times and weather events.

There is no cable service, and the neighborhood is at the end of the service for phone lines, which are 40-50yrs old and completely unreliable, no one out uses the land lines.

I currently pay $46 a month for RF for super slow speeds of 6mb down/2 up, lol so Im going to get GVEC fiber to home 100mb, unlimited for $65 a month with about $300 install.

who's towers are they piggy backing off of? Verizon has such a strangle hold around here if you don't have their towers you might as well have a string with 2 cans. I'll be looking for a phone once I leave my job.

We barely get phone service here, that includes VZ.

Thanks. When I change Ill need to stick to Verizon towers. Anything else and you might as well not pay for a cell phone around here.

I hear ya, the plan I cancelled was my original contract with Cingular wireless lol, About 20 years ago, lol...The plan was a 850min of talk per month, rollover minutes, unlimited nights and weekends but no text lol, we got internet capable phones early to mid 2000's no data limit, until At&T started throttling back few years ago on grandfather plans, fast forward a few years, I can no longer justifng the cost of 2 smartphones at $164 month, and my boys now have phones. Most data I gave used in a month is 9gb, mostly streaming music, so Cricket it is with 4 lines with 22gb each at $100 month.

I missing some brick phones and Nokia Candi bar phones from the past, droid razors and some are probably still packed away and some were thrown out, leaking batteries, or expanding batteries... I have a couple original iphones too. My goal now days is try and keep a phone for 3-4 years before upgrading, they are stupid expensive for what were buying.

This may or may not have just happened to me. Anyone got any good cheap/free VPN's they recommend?

Never had the nokias - I was Droid/samsung cool aid drinker from the beggining. I do miss my blackberries. Had an actual keyboard and we stupid easy to sync e-mails and contacts. How was it easier to do that stuff a decade ago than it is now?

I buy leftover models even at work so I don't feel bad when I brick them. Right now Ive got a 1-1/2 yo Samsung s7 from work. Personally I have a very old Samsung s5 ghost phone I use for camping and GPS that's not hooked up to any carriers or networks.
