Starting to remember why I stopped using the satellite when I got into web based services. The audio blows. Looked it up and it's due to signal strength from their satellites.

Their tech blurb recommended downloading the online app for much better audio quality

Still great to have the ability, but as soon as I cranked it up on my good speakers when some Korn came on I was like WTF is this echo crap. Sounds like I still had my heavy duty tinfoil hat on while in an empty fishbowl and I didn't even start drinking yet

That said I just turned it down and am still listening. My favorite songs and artists I flagged from back then are funny. Feels like a high school reunion/blast from the past

sucks that all the channels changed but Ill relearn them

Most of the flagged songs Ive been listening to are on 40 & 41 right now. I forgot about lamb of god.....I forgot about half the music I used to listen to. That might have been a good thing - allot of this stuff is ...um...lets say very aggressive

Good times for me soon - fiber is coming to my neighborhood in the next three months! I should be able to drop my low speed Wireless ISP and get onto a "modern" connection by mid summer. Then I can really take advantage of streaming finally.

I cut out every annual subscription account I had. Should of done it years ago. Somehow Facebook got a hold of my CC info and charged me for something I never purchased so while my card number was changing I decided today was the day.

Prime was nice and gave me $50 back, but that took some talking on my part - also did that yesterday.

Rest Ill use till they expire, but I made sure they would not be charged again.

AAA made that a pita because they would not allow me to do it online. They wanted me to call them. I decided to end my subscription anyway........

changed my contact info and user name on them + not updating my CC info

and my new addy so hopefully I stop getting all their junk mailers

Per my contract no, I'm all in at $80 a month w/tax & tags for "unlimited" but they said they can "defer" my signal in preference of those who have not exceeded their data should we all be in the same line at the tower if it's backed up w/demand. In the same small print they also state something about one cap at 15gb and another at 22gb.

So far so good - Ive exceeded it by 5x my initial "cap" for the past quarter w/no issues.

Wonder if it has anything to do with me not having a Verizon phone so none of their bloatware is on it? I don't even use their voicemail app or text app (use samsung's default apps). Anything I can do to avoid them, I do. Phone is a global unlocked S8. Only thing ""verizon" about it is the sim card.

That + I also updated my PC and tablets this month for the first time since I cut the cord.

If not for autodesk's demands I'd have a laptop. Ive got a pretty good PC from a few years ago and it was still locking up when I was hatching my drawings last night. Some of the features take up massive amounts of data. It was slowing me down so much in frustration I changed all my hash's to solid to lessen the data req and speed up the process.

Yes, but Verizon is not an option and they typically have you verify by sending a link to your work email. That's how I'm getting my discount on Sprint anyway.

Regardelss, ATT and Xfinity are my options.

Ours is 19% with ATT. Not sure why they do such weird percentages. But I have Cricket because it's still cheaper than ATT even with discount.

Xfinity is driving me to drink with their BS prices. I need the internet for working at home but I Barely watch tv, I would like to cancel the tv. FIOS is not an option in the sticks where I’m at. I’m up to $225 a month for cable and internet. Luckily my work pays my cell phone bill so don’t have to worry a kit if that cost is hiked up.

damn that's not bad, i was worried it was going to be more expensive for "only internet". I will have to call when I have a few hour block open since their customer service blows
