That Alaska show could be cool.. but its not. I mean, its like a combination of the Ultimate Adventure and a KOH race.. but none of the rigs are that caliber. No offense to the guys doing it.. I think it would be fun as hell to do. But its just not.. well its not TV quality. Its like some Swamp People show meets KOH and Ultimate Adventure and races stuff they built with a dose or two of Housewives drama thrown in. Not knocking what they built.. its wheelable but not what I expected.

Watching it right now. I was expecting wheeling and not drama. I like how 2 people just drove around the trails on the beach didn't do half the trail.

Good thread on pirate on the show. In typical TV fashion most of it was edited for shock value. Like we didn't know that already. I was just shocked with the rigs they chose. 35" tire height max. Can't make it too easy. And the 87 Runner (still on IFS) was open open. Nice choice. <shakes head and kicks can and walks away> Let me "race" my crawler with its top speed of approx 40 MPH on hard pack before I am too scared to go any faster.

I didn't read the book series; but from what I understand season 3 got back closer to the book and better overall storyline.
