My neighbor has a 27 or 28yr son still living at home, WTF, never lived on his own, has a good job in the oil field biz 75k, but I never see him help his parents in the yard, wtf is wrong with his parents? WTF is wrong with my neighbors??

If the millennial is an adult age, no one to blame, but themselves if they can’t adapt, parents won’t be around for ever. Grow the fuck up on your own, mentality, physically and take individual responsibility.

The pres of my company still has 3 adult "children" living with him. They are between 25-35 yes old. Its gonna be pathetic when he passes away because none of them have any life skills to speak of. What I fine very funny is he has a 4th son that's around 22 that he didn't raise and that kid is employed, married with a baby and has his own house.

Little background - I office at the local plant but do not work for the plant. I fall under the corporate food chain instead; but I spend more time at plants supporting them. The local plant is getting ready to rearrange offices on the front hall and I want one. I am tired of an office that is on the second floor half way across the freaking plant.

This morning I stopped in to talk to the plant manager about a couple projects and asked him if he had any updates on the office changes. He made a comment that they were still debating who and where but did not want me to hold anything against him. I walked over to his computer and took a picture of the asset tag. He looked at me funny while I was doing that. I told him the closer my office the easier I can support him while his computer his having problems. He said his computer is working fine. I just smiled.

Hopefully I get the news this week to move my office to the front hallway.

He has a pretty good sense of humor for a guy that just bought a Jeep Gladiator. His Tacoma got totaled by a deer in December.

My job does not have any humor. I try to give humor but they are dull.

I'm lucky in that all the guys in my office have the same sense of humor as me. We rib, yell, cuss and throw shit at each other all day. Makes the day go by A LOT faster I got promoted last month and was supposed to get my own private office. I instead turned that office into a new tool storage room for my guys (we desperately need storage space) and kept my desk. I've had my own private office before and I hated it.

Just got my pay stub for this week - our accountant paid me for 40 hrs salary and 40 hrs PTO (double what I should get paid). This is the third week in a row my payroll has been fubar.

Told her what was going on and I was told "thank you for being honest because I would of never caught that".

Maybe it's just me but if you can't pay your salaried employees correctly that get the same pay 52 weeks a year maybe she shouldn't be in charge of accounts payable and receivable for over 6 million in business, but what do I know

Hindsight being 20/20 I should of kept my trap shut. My only worry was that they did catch it and I'd owe it all back + I find it hard to sleep at night when I do immoral things

I get you 100% on the moral argument of it. But looking back if my last job would have done that a 4th time after me turning it in 3 times prior I would have cashed it and smiled. They got enough of my time that the extra compensation would have been appreciated.
