On a state level yes, but you can still be prosecuted by the Federal government which the ATF is a part of. So nothing really changed but these are great laws to protect people at the state level. And I'll take this because we're in a time were people are trying to pass more gun laws.

I did not know that. I never touched a gun in my life. Fishing poles - all the time.

This activity is what caused Komifornia to make Open Carry illegal. It used to be legal but the firearm had to be in 'hammer' mode (unloaded). I know they think they are doing a cool thing but seeing what it did in Komifornia, I wouldn't advise it.

Measure with it folded, it can fire unfolded, but not as intended, but then you can shoot semi auto with it unfolded is not worth the legal risks IMO.

I’d rather pay the stupid tax and be in the clear waters while fishing.

What? The law tactical folder is just a component. As long as he doesn't put a VFG on it and continues to use the pistol brace then it's still a pistol.
