Cans do work somewhat like muzzlebreak. Definitely takes some kick out. The added weight also reduces some of the climb from the front end

I plan on getting a Piston upper for shooting my suppressor. No blow back from the gases and cleaner. Just need to order one! Waiting till I get my sbr stuff done some time to get a 12"

Gonna pick up my new Browning citori 725 on Monday and pop off some rounds. Bought 4 cases of shells, break down case, and full set of choke tubes. Going to get a set of sub gauge tubes soon and thinking about shooting nssa shoots.

Finally shot the AR pistol today. Went with Kelli to Top Gun here in Houston to sight in the red dot and get a feel for it. I would have rather gone somewhere outdoors, but it's close to deer season and I'm not going to ask anyone to make noise on their property.
Pros:
Great build quality - had zero misfeeds/misfires/ejection failures
Nice groupings after I got sighted in
Cons:
Bitch is loud. I'll be getting a can for it once my trust is set up.
Barrel rise is noticeable. I kind of expected that but I think the can will help that
Trigger pull is heavy. That will be changed
Sighting in
Kelli getting a feel for it
