I believe the threads are different for 30 cal and 5.56 AR barrels at the can/muzzle break.

Good point, but I remember seeing something about one manufacture having a quick disconnect to transfer between different rifles quickly. It was a few months back and I forget..

I was thinking of getting a 30cal can for the deer rifles, has anyone shot an oversized can like the 30cal put on an AR .223?

I just wonder if there is a big enough difference in sound to justify in buying a seperate can just for the smaller round like the 223 if your using a 30cal can on an AR

My 2 cents on this.
30 cal can on a .223, sound is negligible difference. All of my cans are for 30 cal and I shoot multiple calibers through them. .223, 6.5 Grendel, .300 BO, .308
I have adapter bushings to adapt from larger threads (5/8-24 thread on my 308 to 1/2-28 thread on my .223, 9/16-24 on the Grendel)
I have shot quite a few model/makes of suppressors and really not a big difference in any of them. Obviously sub-sonic makes a big difference but a sub-sonic bolt gun is freakin quiet.
If you have multiple platforms I would get a single 30 cal can and be done, that way you can swap can/cans on any gun and not worry about baffle strikes.

I shot my neighbors 725 and really liked it. I had to decide between the beretta and browning. The browning 725 was a little more than I wanted to spend. That savings will be applied to my 300 blk build.

Hopefully I get some time to shoot the beretta this weekend.

Man I got a killer deal on mine. Its the 32" sporting with the adj comb. I bet I have 2500$ into it. I might sell it and down grade alittle thinking about getting a cynergy.

Not bad on the 725. Mine is a field version with 30 in barrels. I was looking at a cynergy as one of my choices as well.

Going to test mine out on Sunday on some quail, pheasant and chukar.

Well I sold the 725 and now getting the cynergy. Sold the 725 to a guy that wanted it way more than I needed it haha. Got a line on a 30" cynergy for 1300$ and the cynergy shoots a 3.5" shell so I can duck hunt it.

Ran about 30 rounds through my beretta today. 15 rounds to warm up on some skeet and killed some quail and a pheasant. I really like this shotgun.

Tactical noodle mod

Got the pack with the rifle, so the mod was free, just a little cutting, spray paint and a stolen noodle from the inlaws

Help with a good cheek weld for the big ass 50mm nikon
