It addresses both. Section 3 (b) (1). Increases the transfer tax for NFA items to $500 per transfer and AOWs to $100 per transfer, with rate to be indexed to inflation going forward.

Also, Section 3 (c) adds semi-automatic pistols chambered for cartridges normally considered rifle rounds configured with receivers commonly associated with rifles and capable of using detachable magazines to NFA items as a special category. So 5.56, .300 AAC BO, and any other "normally considered rifle rounds" turn that pistol (regardless of OAL, barrel length, use of a brace, whatever) into an NFA item.

Good. I posted before I had time to do research on it. Been waiting to get off of work to go through it.

Mailed off my Vortex Venom to Vortex to get fixed. Apparently it did not like riding around the Texas country side on a 6 wheeler.

I'm saving my pennies to buy a Trijicon RMR. Either the -06 (3.5MOA dot) or the -07 (6.5MOA dot). I'm kinda leaning towards the 6.5MOA dot at this point.

I wish. We didn't see any fresh tracks or anything from piggies. We saw herds of deer since it was the week before deer season started

I was just riding around on the 6-wheeler and I guess I bumped into too many cactus' or mesquite trees because it stopped working when we were doing pistol drills.

The pistol red dots have a history of breaking. I got mine free when I bought a Strike Eagle 1-6x scope through a guy at Academy using his employee rebate.

The only pistol red dot worth combat status is the Trijicon RMR. But there are tradeoffs with it...smaller sight picture, tinted glass and you have to take the red dot off the pistol to install a new battery so it has to be re-zeroed.

But...it can take a beating.

It's all over my right wing friends fakebook posts (how I saw it). Also actually gets some mention in the local online liberal rag HS students' suspension over gun range photo ignites uproar, potential lawsuit
