So I blame @Anathollo for this; but I ordered a JP roller trigger this afternoon. My basic trigger was not doing my JP 6.5 Grendel upper any favors so I decided to build the lower like the upper except this will be one part at a time. If you have not tried out a JP trigger - don't.

Only reason to get 5.56 is if you are planning on shooting tracers. Otherwise just get the .223 Wylde chamber. You can still shoot 5.56 through it.

That's exactly what I thought. Was just checking. But I'll probably just end up buying one. The Ruger MPR is too good of a deal at $550 to mess with building one. Its just going to be a range gun for me to teach Taylor how to shoot a rifle and how to use iron sights and a scope. No need to build something super fancy. As long as she can put every shot in the killzone at 100 yards, I'll be more than happy.

+1 for Primary Arms shipping. I ordered the trigger Saturday afternoon, it shipped yesterday morning, and it being delivered by UPS this afternoon. Now I just need to sneak out of work tomorrow to go test it out.

It's a fighting can. It just takes the edge off while still being a small package for fighting indoors.
