it’s not very difficult, make a trust, buy, pay $200 and wait.
Oh I know, I work with a gun tard that orders a new suppressor every other day. I just don't see the point lol

No. Like I said, i don't see the point. I have ear protection for the one time a year I check if my shits still zeroed in. Other then that I dont need it and I don't give a shit if people hear me shooting, I live out in the sticks. lol

After shooting suppressed it's barbaric to shoot any other way. That's like saying your car doesn't need an exhaust/muffler system and you run open headers because you live out in the sticks and don't care that people hear you driving and you own ear plugs.

I'd just be happy to have that right to own one not be stripped away from me by my blue state legislators lol

Never shot one in my life.

They are not 100% necessary; but after you spend a day shooting with one you end up asking yourself why you did not do that sooner. It is a lot like off roading without AC and off roading with AC. Sure you can do without it; but damn it makes it nice to have it.

last outdoor range I shot at had so much concrete and steel reverberation we had to put in ear plugs then muffs over them and we were only shooting 9mm lol

We also were stuck in the last lane right next to the walls, but I'd love the opportunity to save some hearing

Hearing loss is another big reason for suppressors. The noise pollution around gun ranges is pretty bad and would be reduced a lot if suppressors were an over the counter item.

something that has been on my mind lately, and how I plan to try to sell the idea to my wife....what about the kids. My 1.5 month old isn't going to know to cover his ears. Heck, I'm not even sure my 1.5 year old would know to do that. My 3 year old does know how to do that, but I'm not sure she is getting a good seal over them. So if someone breaks into my house at night, I'd like to be able to shoot them and not wake up every child in the house.

The loudness of shooting indoors is one thing I like about my 300BlkOut subsonic setup. It is really quiet and really effective without rupturing any eardrums.

But if you are looking for indoor safe shooting option you need subsonic ammo. Supersonic suppressed ammo still has the supersonic crack.

So there's two sides to that situation.

1 side is you want to be loud to scare off the Intruders AND to alert your neighbors which one of them would call the police.

2 side is your protecting your hearing and the fact that your neighbors would probably sleep through gun shots lol.

I'd rather have the suppressor to be safe.

Oh that's why. Just wait until you shoot a 300 Blackout (.30 caliber round) thats quieter than a . 22.

must be the East Texas in him to be so racist against cans, Africans, South Americans, Puerto Ricans etc. Nothing like fishing from the breakfast table and not have to running around the house and to tell everyone to put on some stupid ear muffs/protection on the wife and kids.

One of my neighbors drives a new 4-door wrangler with every lightbar known to man and Molon Labe on the hood. I expect him to own a gun, but not how to properly use it. The other neighbor seems to fit the 'from Boston - drinks IPA' description pretty well. I'll take my chances with the suppressor if I ever find the money to buy one. Until then, it's a pump action shotgun or 9mm while inside.

I know for a fact if every gun Ive ever shot had a suppressor my hearing would be much better. I blame 1/4 on shooting like a moron when I was young, 1/4 on fireworks, 1/4 on working in construction, and 1/4 to going to concerts w/o hearing protection when I was young.

My brother and I were never trained properly and had no idea shooting like tard's as kids would affect us the rest of our lives. At least we were having fun. Kids these days are deaf from having ear buds cranked all the time and that's just silly to me.
