Fuck. I've been looking for 300BO ammo that isn't an insane ampitntlately and I was reading this guy's comment on Fiocchi 300BO. Fiocchi said it was almost 6 months out for 300BO due to component shortage, shipping delays and Covid BS.

Too bad you did not start reloading last year...
Yep, I never thought it was going to get THIS bad. I knew ammo was gonna dry up like it does before an election but the Beer flu & riots pushed it well past the edge.

I know. I need to start reloading. I'll get to it eventually.

I got into reloading to save money and because you couldn't buy 9mm after Sandy Hook. I don't know that it has really saved me anything....I'm sure I have not reloaded enough to make up for the cost of the press, but I do have a supply of bullets when the supply runs out.

I need to pick up some more 9mm projectiles now that I'm thinking about it. I think I only have a box of 250 left.

Hopefully my sammich maker's birthday present is on the way. I ordered her a Tikka TX3 Lite in 6.5 Creedmoor that is left handed for her. It is amazing how hard it is to find left handed rifles right now. I am just waiting on the confirmation email from Alpine now.

Of course the rifle is the cheapest part of the gift; now for the rings, scope, case, and bipod. I am already thinking of setting it up with an arca rail also.

Got in a JP drop in roller trigger because I can use it with a Radian 45° degree safety. I'm not a fan of the jP mushy safety compared to the crisp Radian safety.

Also ordered a JP full mass BCG for my backpack 300BO.

Good news on Ammo - Fiocchi of America to establish facility in Little Rock | thv11.com

Sad that an Italian mfg must come over to do this......whats up with the US ammo suppliers? Are we creating demand and driving up prices by limiting stock on purpose? Seems weird to me a Italian company needs to step in to fill the role US mfg's should be handling

Props to Fiocchi for helping us keep ammo in our fishing rods

Looking for a gun vise. Obviously the Tipton is the most popular but looking for other options as well. Currently leaning toward the CTK P3 Ultimate but its $$. Anyone have any others that they're using and recommend? Would like a standalone option rather than an attachment for a bench vise because I don't want to be confined to the garage to use it. Also, I still havent ordered a bench vise.

New chamber to feed at my house now. Tonight I picked up my sammich maker's Tikka TX3 Lite in 6.5 Creedmoor. Damn it is a clean rifle that is just stupid smooth right out of the box. Now to get to some good glass on it to get her shooting.

If my shoulder gets any worse than it already is, I might have to start buying left handed rifles. Or just pay to have my shoulder fixed.

He is training her to be overwatch!

She has it in her head she wants to go elk hunting; so this is step one towards that - learn to shoot at distance.

IDK, after her birthday, you know who will be making those sammiches...

If the first sandwich he makes is gross, he might not get asked to make anymore sammiches....just sayin'

She banned me from the kitchen years ago. I screwed up a couple loads of laundry which got me out of that chore for the most part as well.
