Sadly they are part of the problem. Puts them in a crappy spot for sure. I've been looking for a shotgun for months and while every dealer is out I then see the same dealer on gunbroker slinging them at above MSRP. I get it, but I don't like it.

What are you looking for? asking for a friend.

Benelli m4 h20 w/o pistol grip is what I've been keeping my eye on

Nice.

Awesome SG, good luck finding one reasonable priced, I wouldn't hesitate to pick up a Stoeger 2000 defense if you ran across one of those as an alternate choice as well.

You and me both. One of these days I will get one. We ran the shit out of them in the Marine Corps without issue. They were just as reliable as the Mossberg pump shotguns we had and could be operated one handed if you really had to.

And hopefully the last upgrade on my hole punchers for a while. I put the MDT stock on my Rem700 MDT chassis and moved my Vortex Diamondback Tactical onto it as well. But that required getting a new base and mounts also. I went with a 0 moa rail since there is no plan to shoot this setup past 600 yards. I will probably end up taking two of the spacer plates out to get the pull right.

I did discover that I need to put a little weight back on the trigger. The Pacific Tool and Gauge firing pin assembly is a "little" smoother than the stock firing pin angle and is not staying back properly every time. So to get back to field reliable I will adjust it back up to 2.5 lbs. Currently it is somewhere around a pound as measured by a machinist friend. He was not a fan of my trigger setting being so light.

Got this new upper assembled last night. It's a 11" 7.62x39 upper. I'm not sure why I built this upper but I did lol Now I have an upper in almost all the most popular cartridges- .223, .22LR, 300BO, etc...

11" KAK stainless barrel
10" Knights URX4 MLOK rail
SLR rifleworks .750 adjustable gas block + carbine length gas tube
V Seven 7075 upper reciever
Dead Air muzzle brake
V Seven 3" pic rail
Emissary MLOK handstop
Scalarworks 1.3" mount with Holosun 507C (this is a temporary setup)
7.62x39 bolt with an enhanced firing pin (made for hard primers)

I was thinking of just getting a pump to have one in the house, but I'll hold off for what I want. Lord knows if I'm not 100% into the firearm it will just collect dust. Even the ones i really like sit far too long

Got an email from Optics Planet stating that they received my return and are processing it. Funny thing is I never sent anything back. They claim its for the CMC trigger, which is snuggly installed in my new slingshot. So yeah, process away.. give me back $183. :)

Wait, so they came out with the og design to increase the surface area and and now are marketing a reduced sized one saying its slimmer and doesn't snag as much.. wtf.?. Does it cost more than the sd?

That would be funny to pay more for less but that's always the marketing tact
