Shot a 3 Gun competition on Friday. My team won first place overall and we won every stage except one (which we got a penalty from an RSO that was unjustified and couldn't be verified in the end but they wouldn't drop it).

I really need to get in some pistol practice under stress. I wish there was a warmup period where you could just go shoot a little bit to get warmed up as I really started to get into my shooting groove after a couple of stages.

But none of my equipment went down or had any failures which was great as I saw numerous guys with equipment failures at this match.

Ordered these boots from Die Free Company as an add on to get free shipping on an order. They allow you to use a Gen 3 PMAG as a "bipod" and adds two rounds for a total of 32 rounds. So I added them to the Pmags that I won at the 3 Gun competition as I normally don't buy Pmags but run Lancer or Ok Industries mags instead.

I saw Ruger released this new 1894 in 10mm. Skinner sites come from the factory, something tells me this one will end up in my gun safe if I can find one.

I like that a lot. Had no idea that was even a thing.
I have been thinking how cool it would me to have a single action 357 revolver, and a 357 lever gun in that same model. Now I have visions of that plus a 10mm in 1911.

No need for that. Run in stock form. I have handled the 357 version and the sights and stock are a nice fit.

Thanks, I'm debating on keeping it factory or upgrading stocks. I know I will keep it with the skinner sites but something tells me I'll have a ranger point or magpul stock in the shopping cart just in case I don't like the comb height from the factory.

Finally ordered a PRP trigger drop-in kit for my Springfield XD Mod.2 subcompact daily carry pistol. Hopefully I can get it installed and tested out pretty quick.
