So you're saying there's a chance!
It appears gas prices will be favorable for this trip

Assuming those of us in the oilfield have jobs to come back to...

We are an international drilling company, and only offshore. Only about 1/4 of our fleet is in the US. Drilling contracts are getting harder to come by, so companies are pinching pennies.

+1 to gas prices but lower prices also means less income for my parents since they get royalties for oil and gas on some property they own. I even get a little each month for the lot my house is on. Usually enough to cover my natural gas bill each month.

Playing the smallest violin for AAaYRon. Full tank for $40!! Shhhit, I'm happy with that.

I am very happy about the gas prices but it can have some repercussions on the economy for areas that rely on oil and gas money to drive their economy. Midland and south Texas come to mind.

Nah I get it man..just messing with ya. Some of the oil producing nations will soon have social turmoil due to their reliance on it.

Too late for that. The middle east has been a shit hole even with higher oil prices.

How do you get a chainsaw that hasn't been started since 2007 and was stored with fuel in it to start?... Pull the choke, pull the cord, and be fecking amazed. I was sure I was going to have to drain the tank and pull apart the carb; if I got it to run even then. Assuming that the bar adjustment pin I ordered ( which is why the saw went unused to begin with) comes in; we will have my 46cc, 20" bar, Poulan Pro chainsaw on the trip as well.

Thats pretty amazing with all the shitty gas these days. I figured it would be full of gel by now! Must have put some "real" gas in it back then.

I guess... I was as surprised as anyone.... Might have had Stabil in it too, but there is no way I remember.

We put that fuel stabilizer shit in our generators gas tank and 6 months later it was still gooped up. I guess it's the ethanol that's ruining it now.

Being that its a poulan I'm surprised it started at all.

I but ethanol free gas up the road at bear cat fuels, they sell race gas and such pricy $5+ a gallon but with it as I no longer have to rebuild and clean carbs every year

I use the 50:1 mixture in my lawn stuff. Shit is awesome! It cost a little more but with the amount of fuel those little engines use it is worth it. My dad's Echo blower was running terrible when I was helping him in the yard. Told him about that stuff and he said the first time he used it the blower ran like new.

Looks like I'll be getting some of that then.
