Did some shop clean up today after helping Nathan with his trac bar last weekend. A while back, I picked up a pair of the RAD designs brake line shock mounts and got them installed today. I reterminated and shortened my winch power and ground cables. My Warn winch is finally mounted and secured with all 4 bolts after having to oblong the mounting holes a little. I removed my Red Top to rebuilt the battery tray that had caved in. I built a base for the Balistic Fab battery box to mount on and installed it. Just some tidying up tasks for now. Should be starting on my trac bar this week or next. I'll take some pics later on..

Ran out of gas today again. Damn small bottle. Trac bar is 95% done.

Ballistic battery box remounted and painted. I added a lug on the fender to rid one of the many power cables off of the positive terminal of the Optima. I ran a 0 gauge jumper from the lug to the battery.

Trac bar progress ...

The chassis unlimited kit has some solid parts.

Just have to finish burning the front mount in. I tied it into the horse collar and plan to box it all in. Ran out our shielding gas otherwise it would be finished.

Winch finally remounted and wired in.

Here are the brake line mounts from RAD designs they are pretty trick allowing the lines to slide when the suspension is flexing.

Change of plans huh? Looks like it will work just fine there.

Yep. I got the rest of the pieces cut this evening. I notched a piece of 2x2 square tubing to slide on to the lower lip of the horse collar and cut a few more pieces of 1/4 in plate to stiffen up the middle some more. I'm going to get my bottle refilled this week and burn it in.

Looks good Chris, those brake line tabs are pretty sweet, much better than a spring holding them while they dangle in the breeze

I've been working on a few things over the past week.

Addressed my pass side spring perch and got it all torqued down. I had to trim the inner 5/8 bolts to fit correctly to keep the spring plate on evenly.

I painted the front calipers, high steer arms, and steering linkage. I should have painted all this before in installed it the first time.

Just waiting on the paint to dry. Should be back in this week.

I installed a new fuel pump mount on the back of the cab just slightly lower than the fuel cell.

Finished up my anti wrap bar
