Yea it's more than I think I needed to cut but the front tire travel is going to be a lot more than previously.

I knocked out some cutting and grinding over the weekend.
The 60 is almost done.

I also did some more trimming on the frame on the driver side body mount and some other miscellaneous brackets that were in the way and needed to go for a while. Just need to grind them down and weld up a few spots.

I hear ya on that. They will probably be one of the last items to get mocked up.
One more beadlock mounted and the transmission cooler has found a home for tonight's progress while watching the Texans get their teeth kicked in. Baby steps..

Question on the orbital mount. Do you think I should use 1 or both of the side bracket gussets? The inner one is going to be a bitch to get welded in. I was thinking about using 1 on the outside of the frame and possibly adding something on the top/front towardthe firewall. Any suggestions?

i used just one for years and it held up no problems. I wouldnt worry about the inside one if its a pain in the ass to get to.

Thanks. That is what I wanted to hear.

Worked on my driver side seat mount Friday evening and this morning. I never liked how little headroom I had with my cage. When I tore down the interior my front seat mount was shot and I needed to replace some of the floor pan so out it came.

I cleaned out the floor pan some more and put another couple of coats of Bedliner in a can. I will paint and burn it in between A and B pillars of the cage in the morning.

A little more progress.
Cleaned up the frame and body mount. I'm running the upper link frame mount here.

Big hole in the floor. I have to relocate the fuel return lines here. I also need to figure out some sort it skid plate for the transmission pan. A little too exposed for my liking.

I need to order my coilovers from Accutune and get my full hydro mocked up to check all of the clearances. I may move my rear leaf spring hanger forward to help lower the rear suspension because I have a feeling the front will be substantially lower than the rear.

Just link the rear and be done. :)

Right now only enough cash to finish the front. If I round up another 12 or 1300 bucks I could probably do it. Bad influences around here.
