It is not horrible. @tex and I swapped out the rear axles in a few hours. We were really taking our time too. Biggest issue was bleeding the brakes.

I swapped the whole axle assembly out from under the taco in about 90 minutes by myself.

Yeah I pulled the elocker axle at the JY in about 30 mins (stopping repeatedly because I don't trust JY "jackstands") and I already have all the wiring ready to plug and play. I don't expect it to take too long. I called the local stealership after my last post and they can't get the studs for 2 WEEKS! Too bad Amazon doesn't carry, I'll just put it all together and then wait for the studs to get here (purchased online).

Pulled the runner into the garage last night "just to PB blast all the bolts" and before I knew it the old axle was almost completely out. Tonight I'll pull the old and put the new seals, etc in the E locker axle, possibly run the wiring. I haven't got a shipping confirmation from Marlin yet on the studs so I'm trying to pace myself.

Been looking into the Matterhorn rack. My only issue is how it mounts to the roof with the stock rack base.

MOUNTING — The roof rack mounts into the OEM roof rails with four 1/4” thick aluminum brackets that are 2” tall. This height is the perfect balance of keeping your weight as low as possible while still making it easy to mount things to the rack. The front of the rack rests on two adjustable mounts that allow you to set the amount of pressure you need.

Isn't that how most aftermarket racks are mounted?

Most get rid of the stock side rails and bolt into where the stock side rails bolt into on the roof drip rails or whatever they're called. If that makes any sense.

That sounds like a few maintenance days.
I'll drop the knuckle off at a local shop to have the new bearings, etc pressed in and the UBJ's can be done once I reinstall
Body lifts are quick and easy, body mounts I'm not sure of
Fluids are quick and easy

I've always had good luck with NAPA parts stores having the studs.
