I have had the pleasure to meet Col Danny McKnight on 3 different occasions and couple Rangers who served under him, I can tell you this, under President Pussy Snatch Clinton, COL McKnight called and planned for aviation support of A10 Warhogs, and they were denied, the Battle of Mogadishu would have a much different ending if Clinton/Pentagon didn’t deny COL McKnights requests.
Incredible Leader, what ever he asked of his Ranger battalion to accomplish/mission he went with them, a leader who believes in leading from the front, to include being in a lead vehicle while entering through the streets of Mogadishu.

he gave a great interview int he doc. Had me a little tearful just thinking about his leadership qualities and how he placed his own health/well fair below that of his soldiers.
I forget who turned down their request for armor but these guys were in open top/back deuce and a halfs (guessing the model - not sure) with sand bags on the sides and bottoms. They were screwed before they ever left base.

My little one wanted to watch "Yesterday" this weekend. Movie about the guy who wakes up and the Beatles have never existed and he is the only one who knows the songs. I must say, I highly enjoyed that movie. Did not suck.

Watched Hobbs and Shaw... I enjoyed it. Not winning any awards but in typical F&F form it was over the top and totally unrealistic. If you can take it for what it is its fun to watch.

Your kid might like the scary one, definitely not like the kids books it's based on. Rocketman has a lot of singing in it, but still good.
I can't stomach F&F, I tried watching some if them but they are just to fucking stupid which is a shame because Jason is my favorite action guy with The Rock a close second.

Star Wars movies are best when you watched the first one at age 9 in the theater. First three were awesome in the 70's. Second three sucked balls. I could tolerate the latest ones nut not nearly as good as the 1st 3 in the theater... no Dolby surround sound. Just cool.
As for the Hobbs and Shaw.. its not as bad as the last few F&F movies... but it is over the top ridiculous.
I did pick up the Scary Stories to tell in the dark but we have not watched it yet. Normally on the weekend we have a movie night and I fire up the media room... this weekend we did not have the chance. Sucks.

Well since most content still isnt available in 4k, think I'll skip out on 8k for now. I havent bought a TV in a long time. Only reason I want a new one is because my 50" looks small in the house and I have a small house. Saw an ad today for a 4k smart TV for $429. Figure I can get one for about $350 on a Cyber Monday deal. I dont even need it to be smart since i do all my streaming through Firesticks.

The cheapest 8k TV on Best Buy's website is $2200. Fuck that shit. Never paid more than $500 for a TV. Never will. But then again, I'm not a movie buff. I have about 3-4 shows I watch weekly and maybe 2-3 movies a week. 90% of my TV use is leaving Hulu on for the dogs to have some background noise while we're at work all day.
