At this point I think I'll be heading up there on Thursday, leaving as early as possible. The plan is to stay at Long Pool Rec Area.. Looks nice and it has showers! Get up Friday and head towards St Joe or wherever the trail head will be. From Long Pool to St Joe is only 70 miles, an hour and 40 minutes Google tells me. Anyhow, the shower on Friday morning will go over big with the family in terms of keeping them happy... hell in keeping me happy.

I'm not a 100% confirmed yes...
But, I hate to say this...the trip needs to stay as planned, there are always someone who will have conflicts with any date chosen, it will be hard for someone to waste a 3 day wknd and not do something fun
